Feyblight's Clan

THE FEYBLIGHT

On the verge of the Wandering Contagion, where the Crystalspine Reaches begin to break the earth, a smooth, opalescent spire swells out of the rock and rot, vast enough to be visible from either territory for miles around. The shape and angle of it suggests that it was once an arcane spine like any other, but some unsettling alchemy has acted upon it, encapsulating it in strangely organic whorls of brittle, glittering white stone--and bored into the spire's height, whether by nature or by draconic claws, are hundreds upon hundreds of holes. The central cells are hollow and dark, lairs for the clan that roosts here, but the majority are filled with gleaming cabochons of crystallized mana, bloated with magic and glowing redly against the plague-choked sky like beads of blood. A dark shape squirms within each gem, living creatures incubating within the mana-rich ichor. This is the Feyblight, and these are the Rosewood's wretched aberrations.
