Lore Intro

"Galad!" this was the first exclamation of the yet named Augrinn, our honored historian, to yet named matriarch Viotta as she rose, shimmering, from the Sunstream. Lacking all else, they named each other and sheltered together in a cavern freshly hewn by Viotta. They soon brought in hatchlings and raised them in the outskirts of Her Brilliance's domain and from then on they kept clawing at rock and soil to make room for their growing family. After some time the lack of clan structure became evidently, dragons largely turned to Viotta for advice but more often to ask what they were: a collection of unrelated dragons living in chaos. It was unsustainable.

Shining Rovers

Viotta and Augrinn flew out in the setting sun and rising moons, searching for an answer - what should they call themselves, how could they revel in light and knowledge without a clan structure. They thought of their first meeting and of the brightness they wanted their home to become Galad but they were largely nomadic now, and Viotta insisted their name reflect that. This is how they became Galad'roval.

Galad'roval has two natures of guilds, the Excels and Invets.

The Excels are exclusive of each other, and have the same structure: there may only be eleven full members at a time, and eacb member must train a replacement prior to retiring from the guild.
- Talons: the warriors' guild.
- Scales: the representatives' guild.
- Wings: the priesthood.

The Invets are fully inclusive of each other and the Excels, and represent trades or skill a dragon may practice - guild membership is required to sell goods at the Sornieth Auction House.
