The Archipelago of Clan Jumeaux was a long-established territory, out toward the Spiral Keep…as of late, however, the Tidelord’s departure has rung a bit too loudly. When there is nothing to listen for, it seems that other voices gain volume and whisper into ears desperate for something, anything, to fill the crushing silence of a long-beloved, long-bereaved deity.

The clan now exists in the borderlands between the Water and Shadow flights, not too keen, it seems, on completely abandoning their aquatic roots. Some clan members linger in the archipelago back in the Tidelord’s domain, but are still in regular contact with the main body of the clan. A few of the clan’s diviners have found some solace in new methods of divination that are not reliant on their missing Lord. Perhaps they aren’t so different, after all: Water and Shadow, abyss and void, prophecy and chaos, shoal and shade. The clan is largely neutral, tolerant of newcomers, avoidant of senseless violence, and has a well-organized Guard to keep clan members and passers-by safe. Do tread carefully, though…tensions are broiling.

FACTIONS

The Followers
When Freida departed from Water, albeit rather suddenly, a large portion of the clan followed her lead. While Meraki was a fair and effective leader, Freida is much older, much wiser…even in her current state of anger. They have now claimed a chain of large, silty shoals off the coast of the Driftwood Drag, along with a section of wooded coastland.

The Remnants
Some dragons in the clan were either suspicious of Freida’s sudden change of heart, devoutly loyal to Meraki, or tied to the territory more so than the clan. The employees of the Tipped Tavern remain on their island to operate business as a haven for those flying over the Sea, and those tied to the mystical energy of the Isle of Eleven remain to guard the former monastery.

The Ferry
Built by the clan’s patriarch, Drake, his daughter Uwazi, and the clan’s woodworker, Aryk, this impressive ship travels between the Archipelago and the Shoals. For the right price, they will carry outsiders across the Sea, as well—many of the crew are adventurers at heart. A few dragons ride along simply because they enjoy a life at Sea, now that their previous dens have been uprooted.

ABOUT ME

Hey there, thanks for reading this far down! I moved from Water to Shadow on my sixth FR anniversary (Sept. 14), and I will most likely go back after some time! I tend to ignore friend requests if we haven’t chatted before, but do feel free to say hi! My activity can be sporadic because of a crazy schedule, but I always come crawling back to my pixel lizards.

Thanks for the sweet compliment on Blitzen. =) I just finished geneing him and his mate up & I have a whole Christmas collection on page 3 of my lair. =) (What OCD? lol ) There's a pinglist for them at my hatchery, if you want to see the babies. =)
