A shimmering bronze Skydancer looks down at you like she's known your soul for ages. Her smile seems almost maternal, distinctly affectionate, and though her lithe, feathered body towers above you, her head bows respectfully to acknowledge your presence. Runes dance on her cheeks, unintelligible shifting tomes that glint and fade rhythmically like embers from a fire atop the hypnotizingly lustrous sheen of her fur and feathers. She emanates a soft, comfortable warmth as if reflecting all the goodness of the sun.

It is perhaps a little alarming that the rest of her clan treads defensively out from behind her, eyes remarkably cold with defensive suspicion.

Nestled comfortably in a moonlit sect of the Hewn City, a pact of strong and silent figures keep watch over the neighboring sun-bleached expanse. Scarcely do they speak, dozens of uninviting eyes trained to ward off curious vagabonds; though the Light-inherent pursuit of knowledge exists within them, a years-long affinity for independence seems to implicate closely guarded secrets within their nexus. Those on the outside are kept as such.

In spite of their asocial lifestyle, this scholarly clan prioritizes their kin over all else. Young ones are protected fiercely, loyalty held in the highest regard.

Beneath their stoicism, these dragons are interwoven by one accordant heartbeat. They are not cold-hearted in the least, and rather simply prefer to show their love through their appreciation of the clan as an alliance—a unified identity—something best proven by aiding in the acquisition of closely-shared knowledge, operating as one mind of many means. They move and speak as a hivemind. With this unanimous effort, they proudly devote their findings only to their deity: The Lightweaver.

The unconditional love and wisdom of their appointed leader Eilaal keeps them grounded by a strong sense of kinship and unity.
