In the sun-warmed roads of Lanternlea, the ocean breeze carries this clan’s residents between archives and schools in the coastal village and their homes dotted across the towering cliffs above. While any clan with sanctuary in its name would imply the presence of a peaceful energy, the clan is anything but. It is a sanctuary for those eager to learn the most daring of secrets from the most dangerous of locations. Secrets and danger in turn bring chaos and mischief, which, in the Circle of Sanctuary, is just another learning opportunity!

While the clan truly belongs in Lightweaver’s numbers, their roots in Wind haven’t faded. A love for creativity and a comfort in going with the flow thrives in the clan, and is arguably their strongest assets when it comes to the pursuit of knowledge. Kites, a liking of mint green, large get-togethers with old Windy neighbors, and even the continued honoring of Windsinger are common amongst the clan. Of course, not all other clans in Sunbeam Ruins are tolerant of this, but the Circle of Sanctuary’s contributions and daring for knowledge has kept disapproving mouths shut for the time being.

The clan isn’t just a sanctuary for its own permanent residents. Any dragon of any background in search of knowledge or warm food and a place to rest is welcome to stay as long as they need. The Circle of Sanctuary is home to many teachers, most of whom are eager to share what they know. From retired dragons telling their stories in a cozy den to organized and rigorous classes in a school building, the Sanctuary has a little bit of something for everyone pursuing any level of knowledge.
