As you wander among the shallow pools of the Tsunami Flats, a shadow emerges from the waters. Osiris gives his head a lazy shake, drying his beard as he straightens up, looking you over.
"Stranger", he speaks in a deep, hoarse voice. Although he does not sound hostile, his eyes seem to pierce through you, scanning your very soul.
"What do you want here?", a second shadow, much smaller, creeps up on you. A mirror sniffes at you, wary.
"Doesn't matter, get lost", his twin sister hisses, circling you from the other side, her head low and fangs bared.
A short warning growl emerges from the depth of Osiris throat. Both mirrors draw back, yet none of their eight eyes ever leaves you.
"Oh no, no, no, hush, Amantia, Yaarit, where are your manners? Pardon, they tend to be a little overprotective. Hello and welcome, my friend", a tundra lands beside the guardian, who is still watching your every move. "We are the Tide Family. We might be a small clan, but we care all the more for each other. Please make yourself at home. Would you care for some honey?" folding her wings, she approaches you, nuzzling at you with surprising familiarity.
"Stay for dinner!" a she-spiral chimes, coiled atop the tundras head like a little crown. "Or forever! We love new friends! Will you be my friend?"
"My name is Nephthys, and this little lady" the tundra says, noding updward "-is Flower. Behind me is Osiris, our Leader, and his little apprentices-"
"Warriors!", Amantia snaps.
"-are Amantian and Yaarit. Come, let me introduce you to the rest of us!", Nephthys speaks friendly, leading you past the quiet guardian and the hissing mirrors. "You guys should come back, too, you've been fishing long enough!"
"Stranger", Osiris speaks in a low voice, only for you to hear between Nephthys happy babbling. "Be welcome. But be careful".
