You arrive at the Baile a 'gluasad - a small trading town midway through the heights of the Reedcleft Ascent. The civilization of dragons sits atop a series of plateaus connected by sturdy bridges on the path to the Cloudsong. It is a well known trading hub and rest spot for tired souls making the perilous journey through the strong winds that render flight impossible. A collection of shops is set up throughout the area, bustling with activity. You saunter forward, approaching a board placed at the entrance of the village, backed by a bamboo foundation. You peer closely at the piece of parchment nailed to it, detailing the layout of the town.

A tall Ridgeback clad in wood and feathered armor approaches you, his wise smile friendly. “Welcome traveler,” he greets you. “You must be tired from your long journey. Come, the Baile a 'gluasad is a hospitable place to all.”
You follow the Ridgeback, sensing his trustworthiness. The path under your feet shifts to clay cobble, bordered by short swaying grasses, as you go further into the town. The buildings around you are constructed of bamboo and wood, some bearing signs with creative shop names. There are many different dragons milling about - some appear to be travelers like yourself, others appear to be more permanent residents. The whole area has a safe and homely atmosphere.
“My name is Adhar,” the Ridgeback introduces himself as you trail behind him, glancing around at the scenery. He chuckles softly at your curiosity. “I am the founder of this town, along with my mate, Gliocas. I was born to the Arcane Flight, but sold my land to make this trading port in the Windswept Plateau. We are a humble civilization, and do our best to help all that pass through our gates.”
He slows to a stop as the two of you near what seems to be an inn, the faint drone of music and voices pouring from the building. Adhar turns slowly to you and offers a grin. “With that, I hope you enjoy your time here. We have many places of business for all your needs. Feel free to ask me or others any questions. We welcome you to the Baile a 'gluasad!”
