Welcome to Clan Celosia!

You find yourself lost in the trees and thick undergrowth of the Viridian Labyrinth, your senses overwhelmed by the sights, sounds, and smells of the forest and your sight failing under the dark cover of the canopy. Streams gurgle over the rocks as you trudge on, hoping to find someone who can lead you to a place to rest- or a way out.

Suddenly, you come upon an odd twist of vines that don’t seem natural- at least compared to your surroundings. Their dark green, thorny surface is etched with glowing purple runes radiating threatening energy. You look back and forth and notice that they stretch for miles in either direction. Too tired to skirt around them, and too out of it to realize it they mark the border to a clan’s territory, you fly over the barrier and continue on.

You realize your mistake soon after.

A rush of green and orange barrels into your side and sends you rolling onto the ground. Dazed but coherent, you come face-to-face with an angry-looking Mirror, her teeth bared at you. Just beyond her, a Nocturne adorned with bones lands and meets your gaze. You tremble at the sight.

Before the Mirror can make a move, the Nocturne steps forward. “What are you doing here?” she asks. You explain yourself.

“Not a malicious intruder, eh? Just some lost little dragon,” the Mirror hisses before turning to her companion. “They look worn out. Quetzal, maybe we should take them to one of our healers?”

“That sounds like a good idea.”

The Mirror turns back to you, her expression still fierce, but vaguely welcoming, “I am Marigold, the Matriarch of this clan, and you are currently in the territory of Clan Celosia.”

Situated in a somewhat-dense, river-side area of the Shrieking Wilds lies Clan Celosia. Every dragon in the clan has come from a different walk of life, but they all have one goal: to protect the wilds and her creatures. Under the authority of Marigold and Nori, the clan's founding pair, these dragons act as guardians for anything within their territory, from the smallest Leafy Moth to the biggest Imperial dragon. Any creature wishing for a fresh start or a safe home is welcome within the territory.
