Dragons are least to be expected within the confines of the Darkwood. Many fly over and many have managed to fight and perish within it's depths. Never have they taken residency, nor have they hunted until the evening of May the sixth, when the Darkwood's ruler, Queen Ariane, Blood Maiden, Lady regent of the winter court, came upon a lone pearlcatcher and took the beast in to her care. Only to find that one dragon after another would soon follow....
