Mists shroud the base of the Crystalspines, jutting like affrighted Emperor teeth out of a roiling maw of a sea. To some dragons, it means danger - to others, protection. And to more still, it's something else entirely. Clan Selenite is a ragged band of dragons who carves out an existence close to the water at the base of one of the mighty mountains beckoning ever inward. It might be a dream to settle close to home and the origin of all of the magic in the Arcane domain, but something holds back the dragons of Mt. Selenite...

Their founding principle is on the welcoming of all who come to them, and many straggler dragons have somehow found their way there. A sickly Imperial shunned out of fear she would turn into something far more monstrous, bone-white Coatls seen as omens of bad luck in their native land, warriors and outcasts and rogues from all walks of draconic life have found their way here. And yet, many seem to lack the ability to leave once within the clutches of the mountains, as if it casts an insidious spell that bonds their very essence to the crystal.

Or perhaps, it's simply a myth meant to scare hatchlings from straying. Whatever the reason for the rumors is, the clan matriarch is always willing to engage in diplomacy with prospective clan-mates, and welcoming questions is nevertheless the Arcane Flight's way. Motley though this crew may be, one can never judge a dragon by its scales, or a clan by the rumours that surround it.

That is what they are, right?
