Long ago when the Ice Tribe was born a sage dragon appeared within the group causing suspicion from other elements. The elements questioned the Ice Tribe on why they had a sage offspring but they couldn't answer.
To this day no one knows why a sage colored offspring was in the Ice Tribe and how the dragon got its colors. Due to the questioning in the Ice Tribe from back then it has been more logical to have different color offspring than the color of your element.
