Khoiarx's Clan

We are excited to be here in the Highland Scrub! Our trek from the Driftwood Drag in the Tangled Wood was truly a dangerous one! We had many run-ins with beast clans and shade-possessed animals. Luckily, all of us survived more-or-less unharmed. However, our clan fractioned off as some of us decided to part ways. Though the good-bye was bittersweet, everybody was happy with their choice. Moving with a smaller clan with Veryl and Asta at the front really quickened our pace.

Stormcatcher has so gratuitously accepted our request to join his flight, and we are honored to serve him in the heart of the Highland Scrub. Lightning strikes and rumbling thunder almost continuously sound in our eastern skies. It is a welcome sight to see the sky and marvels of weather here, when we couldn't deep in the undergrowth of Mistress Shadowbinder's realm.

Though some of us are acutely aware of the strange energy floating through the air. . . Making our tails twitch and our feathers ruffle. . . Some of us sense some danger beyond the dunes. . . Curiosity spreads throughout the clan and some whisper about taking a scouting team out beyond the canyon. . . Beyond the Lightning farm. . . All the way to the Tempest Spire.

Verl, Rens, and Foiral set out in the middle of the night, leaving the rest of the clan to defend their eggs and territory. They feel something powerful in the distance—something unnerving.
