about my lair!

welcome, traveller, to chinook gap! a common waypoint for weary wings and sails, it's the only hope for a non wind native to make it through the zephyr steppes unscathed - the squalls off the aegis sea are strong enough to drag even a seasoned flier to a watery grave.

the gap is a twisting conglomerate of wooden buildings and gangways, which are protected from the tempests beyond by towering cliffs and magic. mainly an expansive sky ship dock, with smaller residential and entertainment districts clinging to it on three sides, it is named for the narrow passage in the cutwing crevasse in which it rests.
