Where do we begin: the rubble or our sins?

The three dragons stood in silence, staring each other down with hard eyes. Bad blood passed between the three of them in varying degrees, although they had once been a formidable team. As a team, they strove for justice, but the only justice on their minds when it all when sour was for themselves. Given the choice, they probably would rather not associate with each other anymore. And yet, they found themselves in the position to form a clan together. To build something great on the ruins of their old partnership. In spite of their initial instinct to scoff at the idea, each of them harbored a curiosity in the back of their mind, and they wondered just what would happen if they gave this clan a shot.

"Welp," the casual, often blunt Snapper shrugged, looking back and forth between the two Guardians before him. "I got nothin' ta lose."

"Can you believe it's been almost two and a half years since we started this clan together?" The Guardian called Seff stretched his massive brown and yellow wings before folding them into his body and curling up on his favorite rock.

"Not at all," Rome, the black-winged Guardian, quickly replied, lounging on his side next to Dean, their Snapper companion.

"Yeah, I definitely thought we would have killed each other by now," Dean chimed in, on his belly beside Rome. "But nah, this is working out fine. All the dragons that decided to join us are pretty awesome."

"As long as they keep their magic to themselves," Rome muttered, side-eyeing the Coatl called Hufflepuff, who was mixing something or other in her favorite cauldron across the den.

Seff chuckled, curling his tail around himself. "You just don't like her because she only jinxes you and not the two of us."

"Tungsten and Theia make pretty babies," Dean commented out of the blue, though considering the Snapper was currently acting as a slide for the two Metals newborns, the remark wasn't completely from left field. "I like that some of them have weird bellies."
