The skies grew dark as the sun began to vanish. Chased from their old lands of Wind and air the war made them leave and they couldn't fight the other clans off fast enough no, in this war many great dragons gave their life to serve the Wind entity of dragons and eventually Ava the leader of then took her clan and many hatchlings into the Tangled Woods there when they crossed the threshold of this dark and gloomy woods the other clans halt almost frozen by fear they backed off and from the shadows the dark haunting laughter of these lands entity Shadowbinder could be herd through out the woods everything was black they barely could see anything as that haunting voice spoke with a hiss in her tone "Ssssssoooo foriengersssssss came running into my landsssss to escape the war" laughter was herd again haunting and Erie as swift sounds could be herd from all around them unable to pinpoint where it was coming from brave leader Tundra Ava stepped fourth and spoke with slight fear in her voice "w-we only seek peace and try to avoid as much conflict as we can p-please allow us to make our home here in these lands a-and I'll give you anything down my lineage of my children and their children after that whatever and whenever you n-need our services w-we'll honor it whatever the terms we beg of you Lady Shadowbinder allow my clan and I to make our home here in your lands" Ava and her clan all bowed to the deity and that's when she made herself visible horrifying looks she had eyes that bled black tar like ooze she'd lean against a tree with a taloned hand with a "hmmmmmm" in her voice as she spoke again saying "When the time comesssss and the next bloodline of your family leaderssss comessssss into charge their offspring would be my chosen vessel hisssssss soul will be mine" Ava because she had no choice said "I-I comply t-to you wish Lady Shadowbinder" and like that she vanished and gifted their clan the ability to see into the pitch blackness of her Tangled Woods and now with the new leader Silvermint in charge and his mate Darkskies their offspring son ShadowStrider was the chosen vessel of the Shadowbinder and therefore given abilities similar to Shadowbinder herself and now she is his guardian and therefore will watch over him from the shadows.
