Zanezap's Clan
Clan Info
A highly divided clan, class determines your role and ability. It is always possible to move one's class up or down with great performance and contributions to the good of the clan, but the highest classes are reserved for first generation or highly revered dragons.
The progenitors of this marxist dystopia lie at the very top, dictating whether or not to accept outsiders or change a member's class.
Other first generation dragons and highly revered, longtime members of the clan sit in the second class of citizens. Their role is to contain the power of the first class and maintain order in the clan
Third class is primarily composed of broodmothers and their mates, but also contains some children of the first and second class
Fourth class contains the serfs; the hunters and craftsmen who create the goods consumed by all classes. Valued but not indispensable, it's not uncommon for members of this class to be traded to or from other clans on a regular basis in order to to acquire other flights' crafts
Very rarely kept in the clan for long, fifth class is the untouchables. The children of broodmothers stay here and are usually sold or sent to the gods, but in rare cases (such as being born under a good omen), a member of this class may join the higher-ups in fourth or third class as a leader and motivational speaker
All decisions to change the rules or alter the life of first and second class dragons must be ratified by a simple majority of the second class, whereas for lower classes the decisions can be made unimpeded by the first class
