Welcome brave traveller;
The ocean swallows you, pulling you deeper within than you had thought possible. Time seems to slow as you sink deeper, the surface steadily growing further out of reach. Your curiosity has led you here, following rumours to a secluded beach, dotted with ruins of times passed. You gazed in awe at the crumbled mural, depicted who could only be the Tidelord, in all his commanding glory. It was as beautiful as it was intimidating. The mural itself had been well worth the trip here, but still, something else tells you that there is more to this place than simply meets the eye.

You searched frantically, looking for anything out of place or amiss. They had been faint, but you eventually noticed several footprints in the sand, leading into the ocean. Perhaps a curious explorer very much like yourself had ventured here earlier in the day. A thought nags at the back of your mind, you quickly spare the mural another furrowed glance, taking note that despite it being well worn with age, its remarkable clean of dust or grime. You find yourself wading out into the ocean, and then you were submerged.

Breath held captive between clenched teeth, you are desperate to keep going. The air in your lungs is fading and quickly but...

Your curiosity rewards you in a way you could never of imagined. Out from the seabed, a temple stands tall and proud, seeming right at home amongst the coral and seaweed. The shock of seeing such a place makes you gasp, water quickly filling your lungs. You struggle to lift yourself back to the surface, limbs feeling heavy from the pressure, the ocean is dragging you down, deeper and deeper. It goes dark for what feels like moments, and then you are awake again.

You splutter, water spilling from your jaw and onto the cool marble floor, pooling around you as you fight to catch your breath. Heaving, you lift you head to stare incredulously at your surroundings. Tall pillars rise up to the ceiling, the walls are decorated with intricate murals and engravings, lit torches line the walls, flames flickering. Your gaze is drawn to the high windows lining the room, the glass unblemished, framing the ocean so perfectly you almost mistake the scene before you as a painting.

Someone clears their throat, and you swivel around to stare with wide eyes at the dragon before you. Their eyes are as blue as the ocean, a clear indicator of their birth flight.

“If you’ve recovered.” Their voice is rather disgruntled, but you see amusement tugging at their features, almost against their will. "Welcome traveller, to the temple of the Ward's of the Wave's”
