"Forsooth, a stranger doth enter the realm!"

The deep voice echos through the cave, followed by silence - deep silence, the type that swallows reality and leaves you wandering. But you are already lost. What sparse lighting there is comes from flickering torches fixed to the wall.

Suddenly, a sound like a shallow cracking emerges from the dark. Quiet at first, but growing louder - no, closer. The crack turns into a shallow yet thunderous roar, and with it comes a small figure, quickly barreling down the way. Whatever feelings you may have mean nothing, for the figure shoots past you.

You notice at the last moment that it's a human on a skateboard. A fearsome wizard.

"GEE WILLICKERS," I screech, rolling past you at light speed. I try to turn, my large pointed hat flies away, and I end up tumbling to the floor. My billowing robes descend down dramatically to embrace my wretched body. The skateboard hits the wall, then continues its journey to the entrance of the cave.

"Oof, ouch, my bones," I groan, curling up on the floor. "Heck."

After a few moments, I stand up shakily and dust off some of the dirt from my fall. One of the straps attaching my long white faux wizard beard detached in my fall. It hangs sadly, no longer covering my chin. I strap it back to its rightful place. I dip my Ray Ban sunglasses down and peek over them to see you better.

"Do not mind mine clumsy entrance," I say. "Thine presence be most welcome in mine home."

I wave you over to walk with me deeper within the vast cave system.

"Thou hast come to marvel upon mine dragons, aye? 'Twould be most pleasing if someone would, perchance, cometh here to meet me. 'Tis somewhat disheartening, you must understand, for none to have interest in talking to thee. Just thine dragons."

I walk faster as tears fill in my eyes. I don't want you to see that I'm crying.

"We couldst play Mario Kart," I whimper, voice breaking. "I would not even dare to use a blue shell."

But it is too late. We have come to reach the dragons.

I wander into the darkness. Soon, my light-up sneakers are all you can see of me.
