In the high mountain ranges beyond the realms of men, where the skies touch the heavens and the rivers run like liquid silver, there lived a human known only as Kindness. They was not born with this title, but rather earned it through their countless acts of mercy and compassion, rare qualities for one of their kind. While most humans of the land reveled in power and dominance, Kindness believed in balance, in the careful stewardship of the world and its inhabitants, be they human, beast, or dragon.

One fateful day, Kindness came across Meical, a young Tundra hatchling with his fur matted with ice and his wings torn and ragged. Tundras had long been hunted for furs and the thick leather of their wings, but somehow this hatchling had survived. Despite his weariness, Meical was wary of trusting a human again—he had been betrayed before.

Yet, Kindness, true to her name, offered him shelter within her clan, not out of ambition but out of genuine care. Slowly, Meical healed under her care, even as she started to gather more dragons in need of shelter and comfort.

Meical became Kindness’s closest ally and advisor, and with his ancient knowledge and her compassionate leadership, Gracewing Kin grew into a a family of sorts. A comfortable home for dragons to live as they please and be taken care of, even in their old age.
