A large swath of forest can be found on the border of light and shadow territory. A dense forest, so wild and overgrown only scattered rays of sunlight make it to the ground below. Though it may look unassuming from afar, this forest is not as it seems- spiraling runes pulse with an eerie lavender light in the dark, and what look like glowing eyes flicker in and out of sight, obscured by vines and weeds. The only sounds to be heard come from the wind, leaves, and trees- the wildlife fled long ago, and doesn't dare return.

The vegetation can move on its own, changing the entire landscape in seconds. Tree branches ensnare the wings of trespassers, and roots coil around talons and tails. The vines creep along the ground like snakes, waiting for the opportune time to strike, and the fast-growing flora overtake the unaware the moment they land.

Forgotten for centuries, only certain individuals can find this place, and fewer still are welcome. If one only looked, traces of those deemed unworthy can be found buried in the soil, or swinging innocently from branches high above the forest floor.

The Shade gave them life- the clan gave them purpose.
This may be one place that is better left alone.
