Call me Jin, since wafflebiscuits is a mouthful. I'm on tumblr and post about my dragons, though not always on the Flight Rising tag, so if you find me, feel free to talk
A quick breakdown:
-If they're a baked good or confection of some sort, they were either scavenged, bought, traded, or a gift.
-If they're a drink of some sort, they're the child of at least one baked good or confection.
-If he's named Munmu, well, I made a history joke, and he will forever be a favored dragon.
-If she's named Otohime, well, I made a mythology joke, and she will forever be a favored dragon.
-If they're named Amrita and Ambrosia, they are a permanent breeding pair and therefore not on the menu.
-If they're named Munmu and Otohime, they are a permanent breeding pair and therefore not on the menu.
-If they're named Guang, Qin, Run, and Shun, well, I made a Journey to the West joke, and they're brothers.
I'm always open to sending the kids out to have babies with different eye colors. If they're a Wildclaw, they're a parentless first generation dragon or they're a pretzel. Of course, I cheated a bit; Macaron is my random progenitor.

I know that problem all too well, unfortunately. The cost of lair space often costs one their dreams, if only temporarily. We can only hope the fairgrounds start working better. Or you might not be able to expand your menu, and I'll be in a rut as well.
The quest is a never ending one, as it would seem. Though some pairs... don't even make any sense to me yet. Anyway, I'll be looking forward to seeing what dragon you name after a delicious foods/drinks next (which will undoubtedly be exciting).
Well it's lovely that someone enjoys the references just as much as I do. I hope to one day have an army of theme named pairs. I tip my hat to you for being mythological (and fairy tale) savvy, and also having excellent taste in food. : )
I was going to post a reply to you in the narcissism thread, but got ninja'd. So I figured I'd hit you up here to say that I think your theme naming is amazing (not to mention hunger inducing), and that I'm glad someone enjoyed The Snow Queen reference.

Jethro is just fat, lazy, and nosy (no pun intended). I also have the headcanon that since he's so fat and large he has to claw his way though the underwater cave/grotto entrance, so now the outside is littered with little purple gems.

I have yet to find any wildclaws I really like, Azuralis used to be fae and I rather begrudgingly changed her so I could have a WC clutch (traded away the father and first pick for my obsidian Imp). But maybe I will find one I like eventually. Strudel is
