Now you may be wondering how it's even possible for dragons to survive underwater let alone a whole civilization and the answer is rather simple. It is all thanks to our glorious ruler the Tidelord.

You see our sole ruler uses his outstanding abilities to make life livable down here in the deep blue sea. The magic that emanates from his lair to the various regions of the sea provides us with the ability to breathe underwater and withstand the immense pressure of deeper waters. Of course this is only for those who prove themselves worthy of living within the Sea of A Thousand Currents...

You see the Tidelord knows all, every birth and arrival is known to the Tidelord, he knows our every move, every clan that has entered or left. In order for Tidelord to maintain his tremendous power we must provide him with sufficient nutrients. The Tidelord will send messages to every clan of the Water Flight asking for the assistance of dragons in their clan. The dragons that are chosen have the honor of providing the Tidelord nourishment. Since the Tidelord is a generous and loving being our ruler asks very little of us. For this we are truly grateful. Of course they are never seen or heard from again and no surface dragon today knows of what becomes of them, as is the will of the Tidelord.
