Looking out of the forest surrounding the Behemoth, there appears to be some sort of strange drop-off. The soil under your feet suddenly turns into a carpet of tree’s leaves just a few feet in front of you, and you can make out the chattering of dragons below. One of the Behemoth’s thick roots arcs over this place, and carved into it are strange patterns and claw markings of various sizes, a testament to the sizeable clan that must live here. Careful descent into the crowns of these trees rewards you with the view of a healthy clan life.

Suddenly, leaves rustle behind you, and the maw of a large dragon closes around you somewhat roughly and pulls you back to the ground above. It sets you down, and your view is filled with a black Guardian whose orange eyes stare into you. “Welcome to Glen Companion,” she rumbles. “We’d prefer newcomers going down the tunnel over here.” She gestures with her snout for you to follow, and she leads you down a tunnel that winds around the Behemoth’s root. “So what do you need?”

Trying to catch a glimpse of any dragon through the mist at the base of The Great Furnace is impossible, moving shapes blending with shifting steam. Following several slow-flowing lava rivers (not to mention the stray ghostly touch nearly sending you into them) leads you to a line of runes roughly carved into the clay. Through the mist, you can make out the faint imprints of many dragon tracks. Through the bubbling of lava and water, you can hear the sharp clashing of metal tools, and the rumbles of conversation.

Before you can touch the land across the runes, the flapping of wings sounds above you and quickly stops. A dragon dives through the mist, opening her wings at the last moment. The mist parts long enough for you to see a black Skydancer look down at you, lightning crackling off her wings and armour, and a glimpse of a colony of dragons standing before a series of caves. The steam resumes its place, and you hear the Skydancer speak. "Didn't you read the runes? This is Forge Stahlijzer territory. Unless you knew that and need something of us?"
