If you expand your lair enough times and get more lairs spaces, you'll eventually get out of the lesser lair stage. :3

That all depends on how many times you expand your lair and how many lair spaces you have. Lesser lairs are 5-45 spaces, Mighty lairs are 50-70 spaces, Venerable lairs are 75-95, and Ancient lairs are 100+ spaces.
