Sally has gotten a job working under Baldwin! Her main job/focus is learning the reactions of chemicals with other materials. She recently discovered that if she mixed certain chemicals and items together, she got a substance that could be used to dye fabrics and apparel! (I understand this would be a huge amount of code. Obviously not every item would be dye-able either)

An idea that could be implemented, but that would likely be very difficult, have Sally unlocked once players hit a certain level with Baldwins.

The Trading post screen: How it works/What changes?: Nothing really changes save for some aesthetics to the screen. You still would click as normal, though now we can see Sally's cauldron! The interior: How it works/What changes?: Here we see several changes, mainly in organization as Sally has set up shop. The clickable buttons for the dragons actions are now stacked vertically, instead or horizontally, and we can See Sally has her own, different buttons. In the top of Sally's Button (Purple Cauldron), we can see an emerald being the item to be transmuted, resulting in a new concoction [s]that we can pretend I didn't just recolor[/s]. this process will function similar to Baldwins, where the Player drops in an item, and can get one of 5 Pigmented Powders (Green shown). This will be random, and no color is rarer than the next. In the bottom button of Sally's, we see the ability to create new items. Ideally, what the Player can do is take the Apparel item they wish to be dyed, with the corresponding Pigmented Dye, and maybe an item corresponding to the color of the Pigmented Dye. (There would have to be a list of items, organized by color for this to work. Unsure. more testing needed) The result however is a Dyed recolor of the Apparel put in! How neat! Sally's Station: How it works/What changes?: Here we see a similar set up to our neighbor Baldwins, but of course with Sally's purple filled cauldron, and new items! We see how one gets the Pigmented Dyes mentioned in the above paragraph. I think this will also help cut into the massive stocks of some colors we have [s]cough green cough[/s]. The Baldwin material isn't set on being that specific sludge/ooze/etc, just something of the corresponding color, to make Pigmented Dye. Ideally there will be a different Beaker Dye for each of the main Baldwin Material Colors [s]maybe pink one day[/s]

Ideas for the future: -Figure out which clothing(s) would be dye-able -Maybe look into dye-ing non clothing items, (i.e Books, Bottles more ideas needed)
@Sesshin (I'll remove this post if you need more space.) How about certain dark pigmented, or more expensive, apparel first need to be bleached before they can be recolored. Another thing I'd like to suggest is adding more of the common sludges, slimes, etc. to the basic recipes.
@ShiroiYoukai

Oooh, I like the idea of bleaching the darker items. makes sense tbh. I'm still working on what all the recipes would entail atm, but you make a point!

@Sesshin Yes, I thought it was logical too. Maybe bleach could be included in the recipe for the lighter colored apparel. For the darker colors you could use something else to make the number of materials roughly the same.
I don't know how to otherwise make it work with an extra step that would exclude certain items. Would be too complex like that imo.

Edit: I absolutely LOVE those recolors @-@

@ShiroiYoukai

there's a lot of pigment styled items on site that could probably be useful. I check around and see what I can find! ^ ^

Edit: Ahhh thank you! :D

@Sesshin True. For the powder alone there are a lot of minerals and stones that can be ground to dust. And if something is used for a Swipp trade already, there's always the option to use plants instead. A lot of roots and leaves are used to color fabrics.

Argh, I have so many ideas. But I can't ... words! :'D
