((Okay no problem!))

Undae exhaled and opened her eyes.
"Smart." She said, turning to Zaria. "Best to use it in the caves."
Styrka stopped healing Aestas and took a moment to flex her fingers. He sat up slowly, testing his legs before standing up gingerly. He nodded in thanks to Styrka before moving towards Undae. Styrka looked at him warily before following as well.
Aestas made to grab his map from his bag but Undae held up a hand to stop him.
"No need, I know where we are." She responded gruffly. She moved towards a large boulder, decorated with small bones and skulls that made even her look small. Undae tentatively reached out a hand and laid it on its cracked, dusty surface.
She pulled her hand back, made a fist, and punched.
The place where she had rested her hand cracked, pieces of rock chipped away. The boulder scraped away dry dirt as it hurtled backwards. Undae made a face as if she was in pain and the jeweled eyes of her birdskull necklace lit up just for a moment. Styrka's eyes widened. She had made that necklace. It was designed to absorb magic. She and Aestas exchanged another look.
She's being reckless, he said to her.
I know. Styrka thought back to him.
The spot the boulder had once occupied opened up to reveal a hole, straight down into blackness. Undae turned to Zaria and Drexin, her fist still clenched, still scowling.
"Let's go."

Zaria questioned to herself how exactly Undae knew where this place was. She watched, in awe as the Guardian punched the boulder into oblivion. Well, she is NOT someone I want to mess with. Zaria thought. She peered over to Drexin, who had a look of admiration on her face, something that was rarely, if ever seen. Zaria stuffed the vial back in her pouch for now, She would talk it back out when they got into the caves. She spread her wings back out, ready to jump in and make the decent.

Drexin flicked her tail in anticipation. She stood up tall and peered into the dark abyss. She grunted and nodded, to confirm that she was ready. She then to, spread her scarred and torn wings to prepare to go.

Styrka peered down the hole, biting her claws in her nervousness. Aestas laid a hand on her shoulder.
Do you want to stay up here? he prodded gently. I can stay with you.
Styrka shook her head. "I'm ready." She spoke, looking up at Undae. The guardian turned her head only slightly to regard her and nodded.
Without further delay, Undae folded her wings to her side and dove down the hole. It was a tight fit, and she felt the rough rock scrape her wings. Once the walls around her fell away, she opened up her wings and landed on the stone floor. She moved forward, making room for Zaria and the others.
The cave was shrouded in darkness. Undae inhaled the stale air that smelled faintly of rot. The caves had been sealed up for years. Once they left, she had every intention of sealing them up again. This is a place for no one, she thought. Only ghosts.
Styrka landed behind her with a soft oof. Clearly she hadn't opened up her wings in time to break her fall.
"Over here." Undae's voice reverberated in the dark. She heard Styrka's feet shuffle over towards her. "Are you alright?" She dipped her head to nuzzle Styrka's slightly.
"Oh feeling guilty for being so cold lately now, are we?" Styrka teased and Undae could almost hear her smile.
"Yes." Undae didn't bother to lie. "Do you think you could make some light in here?"
"Of course." Styrka purred and cracked her knuckles before feeling around for the wall. When she found it she sunk her claws into it as best as she could. She closed her eyes and poured forth pure Arcane energy. It spiraled out from her claws and onto the wall like ivy. It spread and grew like pink, glowing vines until it covered the walls of the small cave they had landed in. And on each vine a small, pink bud grew and then blossomed. The walls were decorated with fragile, pink flowers, each emitting a strong light. In the shadows, Undae almost looked like she was smiling.
"Very impressive." She said. Styrka straightened up.
"I'm not an Archmage for nothing you know." Undae gave a small smirk and took a moment to study her surroundings. The floor was rough sandstone, not polished but clearly carved. Behind Undae was an archway with two large doors, one soggy and rotten off its hinges and the other in not much better condition. In the other direction, behind Styrka, the cave ended. It was clear this was the entrance to the Kharran's lair. Above the doors the symbol of Plague had been carved into the stone. Undae pushed the rotten door and it fell onto the stone with a wet smack. Undae hesitated, her arm still outstretched.

Zaria and Drexin dived into the hole in the ground. The Wildclaw, using her wings, parachuted her way down, the Mirror trying to do the same. Zaria landed pretty gracefully, she folded her wings back and and looked around the darkened cave, waiting for her eyes to adjust. Drexin, while falling, racked her claws against the rock wall, hoping to slow her decent, her wings failing her. Drexin barked, Zaria turned back around and used a small gust of wind to aid her.

With all feet on the ground again, Drexin shook herself off and looked around. It was way too dark to see well, too bad the Mirror was practically magically deficient. Zaria snickered at the Mirror, "Heh, too bad our Light dragon has a broken bulb." She bumped Drexin with her elbow, to which Drexin sneered in response.

The both watched as the Arcane Coatl show a brilliant lights display. Zaria was in awe, is was gorgeous to take in. The pink tendrils from the plants, the glowing blossoms that were producing a fabulous pink light, all of which was a sight to see. Unfortunately, they were not in the best location.

Zaria turned to the rest of the group, after having watched Undae break the door way. "Hey," She said as she pulled the vial back out from its pouch. "You might want to use this now. You don't need too much." Zaria pulled the stopper out from the vial, traces of pink magic flowed out from the opening a bit. She took a bit in her hand and moved up towards her face. She then smear the much on her forehead in the shape of the Life rune. The mud glowed pink a little before it stopped and faded. She then passed the vial to Drexin who did the same, except on her arm. Zaria moved the vial in the direction of the other dragons.

Styrka took the vial from Drexin and gave a small nod in thanks. She copied Zaria's actions and drew the rune on the back of her hand.
"Undae I'm not sure this will work for you." Styrka studied the vial in her hand, frowning.
"What do you mean?" Undae turned to face her before her eyes widened in realization and she clutched her necklace. "Oh." She muttered softly. "I'll. . . Have to make do without it for now." Undae stiffened as she carefully removed her necklace and handed it to Styrka, who was looking up at her with wide and worried eyes. Undae shuddered and closed her eyes as Styrka drew the sigil on her arm. She clutched the birdskull necklace tightly in her other hand.
"If you need it-"
"I won't." Undae cut her off and pushed down the other rotten door. "Let's- let's go."
Aestas landed behind the group of dragons gracefully, all signs of his former exhaustion gone. Styrka made her way over to him with the vial in hand. Aestas' eyes widened when he saw Undae's necklace. Wordlessly, Styrka drew the sigil on his shoulder.
Reckless. Aestas repeated. Styrka felt his annoyance at her. She sighed.
Just look out for her alright? She turned away from him, rejoining Undae at the front. Undae walked forward, into the hall that extended beyond the doors. The doors squelched underneath her feet, filth rising between her toes. Styrkas vines continued to grow, illuminating the hall.
"The hall of history." Undae whispered to herself. Styrka felt a profound anxiety begin to worm its way into her gut.
The walls were painted, or rather had been at one point. The colors had long since faded and cracked and were caked with mold. But the paintings clearly told the story of the Gladekeeper and the Plaguebringer. A story every hatchling knew.
But the paintings kept going.
Undae kept walking, her gaze lay unfaltering towards the end of the hall. Styrka's vines kept growing, casting light on the storied walls.
One painting depicted the Plaguebringer creating mirrors. But Styrka couldn't help but stop at one that showed a dragon, she couldn't tell what kind, that was wreathed in a golden light. The Plaguebringer loomed over the figure, with eyes Styrka could only describe as full of greed.
The hall ended with an identical archway with equally rotten doors. Undae pushed them both down, with more force this time. As she walked under the archway, Styrka noticed a slight tremor in Undae's hand.
Undae walked into a larger room and waited for the others. Directly in front of her was another set of doors. But these ones were far larger and made from dark, cold steel. Engraved on each one was the Plague insignia. Undae felt a prickle underneath her claws.
Massive stalactites acted like columns, supported the stone ceiling. Mysterious tendrils climbed up them, ending in large pustules that gave off a sickly green glow.
"No one touch those." Undae grunted to the group.
The room branched off to the left and right, both corridors shrouded in darkness. Undae paused, waiting for Styrka's vines to reach them.

Zaria capped vial again. They both followed the rest of the group. The two dragons walked down the hall, taking in all the carvings and painting of the lore. They both tagged behind a bit, Drexin with her head held low, ready to pounce on anything that dare reared its head. Zaria walked as stealthy and quiet as she could, not wanting any chance for them to get caught.

Upon entering the bigger room, they both came to a stop. Zaria scanned the landscape before them. "Why would I want to touch the giant puss balls of death?" She joked. 'Either way, we can either go left, right or break down the doors and go forward. Seeing how its locked, the stuff we nee I most likely in there, but it is also going to be covered in traps. It would be wise to go there last for now. Search both ways first, then meet back here."

"No." Undae's voice came out as a growl. "Not there. Right. We go right."
Styrka stiffened at Undae's tone and clutched the necklace in her hand.
Be ready to use that. Aestas warned her.
Styrka guided the vines down the right corridor with a small flick of her wrist. Undae followed them, her feet crunching small bones as she walked. Styrka tailed her closely, glancing behind her shoulder to check on the others.
The corridor curved slightly to the left. On the right were doorways, one after the other, the doors overtaken by the same glowing pustules. Undae didn't stop for any of them. Styrka stopped to look in one, flowers following her. Inside was a small chamber and the remains of a bed. Beside it, a stone table, covered in the tattered remains of parchment. The whole room was covered in rot and mold. Styrka sighed and rejoined the others. Undae stopped abruptly narrowing her eyes before turning sharply into another room. This one was larger than the others, circular.
In the center were the remains of a large nest.
Undae approached the nest slowly. Styrka joined her, placing a hand on her shoulder.
"Nothing here," Undae inhaled sharply and turned around. "Let's keep moving."
Styrka looked up and met Aestas' eyes. They both saw Undae shaking as she left the room.

Zaria taken back by the snap, quickly shut up and stayed quiet. Whatever they wanted from these guys, she could guess was personal. Zaria nodded at Undae and swiftly followed them into the right corridor, with Drexin holding up the rear. Zaria made sure to move around and keep away from the walls, not wanting to set anything off. They entered the rooms, and noticed the beds and such, why this way? I guess we will be searching any left behind personal stuff or information they might have left. IF they left anything. But why would they, they are normally very careful about this sort of thing, if I recall. Zaria thought. She drudged behind.

Undae continued out of the nesting room. She hesitated and as Styrka caught up to her she sighed.
"I'm not entirely sure what lies ahead." Her voice was barely a whisper. "Just. . . Be prepared."
Styrka stood still for a moment in shock as Undae continued down the corridor. As it began veering to the left, Undae stopped and faced a pair of gilded doors, larger than the rest and less rotten. The tendrils that had been creeping their way down the corridor had undoubtedly started growing here. They were nestled in the crevices of the walls and they reached up to the ceiling and framed the doors. The entire corridor was bathed in the eerie green light of the strange pustules. Undae breathed in and pushed open the doors, hand visibly trembling now.
The first thing Styrka saw were the walls. Everything in the room was almost perfectly preserved, no doubt because of wards designed to slow the course of the mold and grime.
And the blood that caked the walls was still visible. It was brown and flaking, but undeniably blood and it coated everything. Styrka stood frozen in the doorway.
Undae ran her claws over an extravagant tapestry, seemingly oblivious of the bloodstains. "Varhul always had a taste for the finer things in life." She almost spat out the words and ripped it off the wall. She hung her head, staring at the crumpled cloth.
"The table." She eventually said, voice shaky. "Check the table."
"Undae," Styrka whispered from the doorway. "Are you-"
"I'm fine!" Undae snapped, shouting now. "Just check the damn table!"

Zaria and Drexin entered the room. The Mirror stopped and looked at the surroundings, taking in everything. She shook her head, grunted, and walked over to the table.

The room was pretty eerie to Zaria, as a shiver ran down her spine. She, too, went over to the table and started searching it over with Drexin. Drexin was opening draws and emptying out any papers they could find onto the surface of the desk. Drexin was scanning each paper, trying to see if there was anything of importance, most of which held no meaning or was coded in some sort of other language.

After a bit of searching, Zaria's eyes narrowed and she looked over at Drexin, "Try looking for any hidden compartments." She ordered. The Mirror hissed, not liking being told what to do. Drexin stood back, getting a good look at the table, she then slipped underneath racked her claws along the underside. A audible snap could be heard, she paused, then slashed again and again. She noticed an indent in the under side, stuck her hand into in and pulled out a few crumpled pieces of parchment. Drexin brought them over for Undae to investigate. Upon opening it, it looked to bee a map of sorts, with markings all over the place, still written in that codded language. "Great we have a map, but what good is that if we can't tell what is even IS!" Zaria complained.

Drexin peered over at the Wildclaw, "It is the best we got. Unless you can decipher the language." She hissed in a mocking tone.

"Well maybe check the other papers there to see if there is anything that might be able to help." Zaria said.
