Your talons splash and slip through the mud -- you hope it's mud -- as you crash through the thorny undergrowth. "How did I get into this mess?" you pant as you listen to the howls and snarls of your monstrous pursuers coming ever closer.
This was all thanks to the invitation rustling in your pocket. The night before, you had discovered it waiting outside your lair.

"Dear Y/N," it read. "You have been invited to a Halloween Party at our lair. We are located in the Tangled Wood, Wispwillow Grove, at the edge of the Foxfire Bramble.
Please bring your friends. There will be enough treats and prizes for everyone.
Sincerely, Quicksilver"
You didn't know Quicksilver, but the invitation seemed genuine and exciting enough. Besides, you were a dragon. You were fairly confident that you could fight or escape from anything sinister.
So you flew to the address the invitation provided, and wandered around for a while searching for the right lair when the monsters attacked you. Panicked, you sprinted into the woods, and quickly lost all sense of where you were -- but being lost was better than being monster lunch, you reasoned.
Your plan was to lose the monsters and then fly away -- but the monsters stayed hot on your trail, and alarmingly, it sounds as if more and more of them are gathering behind you. Darting around another massive evergreen, you wonder how much longer you can avoid them -- when suddenly, you spot a shape rising up from the fog ahead of you. Lights pierce through the murk -- it's a log cabin! Overcome with relief, you sprint to the door and hastily knock.
After a moment, you hear shuffling come from inside, and the door creaks softly open. A sparkling silver Mirror peers out at you, her four crimson eyes narrowed slightly with suspicion.

As soon as she sees it's another dragon, the Mirror bares her teeth in a wide smile. "Ah, another guest! Come, come inside. There's a lot of beasties about tonight. Full moon, and all."
You stare at her, confused. "Wait... guest?"
"But of course," the Mirror purrs. "I am Quicksilver. You received my invitation, did you not?"
"Uhh.. yes." You stare at her, astonished that the party was being held all the way out here, deep in the Tangled Wood, with no other dragons living nearby. You start to get a bad feeling about all this. But before you can fly away, you hear a loud snarl from behind you, and one of the monsters snaps at your tail. You yelp, and Quicksilver exclaims, "Quickly! Come inside." She takes hold of your arm, and pulls you into the cabin, locking the door behind her.
Monster claws scrabble uselessly at the door as you nervously take a look around. Quickly, your fears are soothed; there are many other dragons at this party. The cabin is lit with floating orange candles and jack o' lanterns, and the air smells warmly of pumpkin spice. Smiling, you step forward to join the others, excited for what this party has in store.

Winners will be drawn on October 31st.
