Entry Title: Cottage Of A Friendly (Half)Giant
Entry Description:
This home made gingerbread house is made from scratch using my great great grandmother's recipe converted to gluten free (because I love gluten but it doens't love me). It consists of two octagon- shaped "rooms" with a shared chimney. The stone texture on the walls was made by pressing a stone texture cookie cutter into the sides, the wood texture drawn in using a toothpick. Three batches of royal icing, a box of gluten free cereal, and a whole lot of candy later and I had brought one of my most beloved imaginary settings to life in the form of cookies, cheerfully decorated for the Christmas season.
There was just one thing missing. A sassy hippogriff made from rice crispy treats and modeling chocolate while binge watching the Great British Bake Off. Merry Christmas to all xD

Mint Glacier Cookies
Entry Description:
While a relatively new family favorite, these cookies have been a must-have since last year! Despite not being the most complex cookies, it's always a blast to make them. Usually it'll start with a bit of curiosity from my family - and before I know it I have an extra pair of hands helping me sift, roll, and of course, eat them! c:
They're made with flour, a combination of white and brown sugar, a leavener, salt, peppermint extract, and a small bit of vanilla! Then it gets rolled in a ton of powdered sugar, which makes that beautiful crackle!
Whenever I make them, I can expect them to be gone rather quickly. :D
