[size=5]I am subscribed, NO NEED TO PING ME[/size] I like making pixel money off selling dragons, but I also like having lair space to hatch new dragons. I also love seeing my dragons new homes with lore. SO! Rather than exalting these dragons or selling them for fodder, I'm giving them another chance to find a new home. [size=6][color=red]This thread is now open![/color][/size] [size=6]RULES[/size] 1. This is FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED, in the order of comments. 2. Pick from the available dragons in the next post. ONE PER PERSON PER WEEK. 3. Use the form provided. Items with an asterisk (*) are required. 4. You don't have to write me a novel, but I will require at least one decent-sized paragraph. Some effort is required. 5. Use full sentences and try for decent grammar (obviously if English is not your first language I'll be understanding); NO TEXT SPEAK. 6. Once I've approved your request, I'll send the dragon to you. 7. Once a dragon is yours, you can do what you want with it, but I do ask that you wait at least a month before exalting them. Don't just turn around and exalt them immediately. That would be a jerk move. 8. If I reject your request, you are of course welcome to try again! 9. Most of these dragons will remain for sale in the AH, so if someone buys them before your request gets approved, sorry. 10. Obviously, you can change the lore later on. 11. You don't have to check in with me down the road after adopting a dragon, but I LOVE seeing where my dragons have gone... and I especially love seeing their descendants! 12. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A SPACE IN YOUR LAIR FOR YOUR NEW DRAGON. I will only hold a dragon for your for 1 day. After that it will either go back up for sale, go to the next person who wants it, or will get trained for exalting, depending on what stage it's at. 13. He quickly adapted to his life, traveling from person to person. Even as a hatchling, he was overwhelmed with stress. Every time he got comfortable, he was thrown into a new lair. One day Argyle was at his breaking point. Enough was enough. While he was walking by the shore with his master, he summoned the water to break him free from the leash he was tied to. Argyle had no clue how it had happened. All he knew was that he was free. He then flew off, leaving trails of dust in his wake. This event caused him to desire more. How had he commanded the water to free him? Argyle wanted to know this knowledge. Therefore, he created his own little place by the coast and began to study. He experimented. One of these experiments ended up costing him a bit of his pigmentation and left white marks throughout his scales. But it was worth it. He had discovered a flawless tactic to move the water at the will of the master. However, he could only use it once it had purpose. Every time he used it, he grew weaker. Then one day Argyle ran into the dragonness of his dreams. She was blue and orange, and introduced herself to him as Allure. She was a dark coloration to match his pale purple scales. Her only flaw was the green nature energy, flowing throughout her scales. Argyle fell instantly. He tried to sway her, but she would not be won. They remained friends for a long time, until Argyle couldn't resist. He summoned the water to woo her heart. It worked, but he was left weakened for days upon days. Allure was worried. The water had sapped at his energy, making him nothing more than a shadow. She decided to take matters into her own hands by sharing her nature energy with him. This gave him enough energy to revitalize, and left her with enough to take care of him until he was well. And this is where I leave it. I can write more if needed. [b]Dream Apparel: Will O' Embers definitly. Probably more fire themed. *[b]The Lore: She wasn't merely born, but thrust from the Earth. Deep from within, where the lava resides. She came into this world alone, surronded only by heat and flame. It is an unusual way for dragon to be born. Even the Fire dragons typically have parents, have family, have someone there to raise them. Athine (?) was alone in the fact that her only family was the flame. At the begining of time it was decided by all. The Sun, the Moon, the rocks on the ground, the waves that hit the sound. All Earth was in harmony with this simple fact. Every Flight would be allowed to choose two, one male and one female, to guard them. They would choose two souls, and keep them forever. Fire, lava, heat, whatever name it goes by, choose her, and him. Her soul has been here many times before, and it has always found him. It is the way. So her birth was not that unusual, not for the spirit inside of her. She knows this well. She has emerged from the fire more times then she can count now. Her soul has been resting for years now. The fire had chosen not to bring her guardians back. Until now. Athine can remember her old lives, in a way. She remembers battle she never fought, children she never had, flights she never took. She is the old soul inside of her, but she is also new. She knows why she is here. She must find her old flame, the other half of her, the burning she feels. It is how it has always been. She must find him, and together they will keep the flame alive. For as much as she feels the heat, she feels a chill, too. Something is coming. Miscellaneous: Hope you like it!
