Upon seeing a visitor approach, one of the workers, a small purple Fae wearing the telltale goggles of a Carnival employee, flies up to the wooden booth which sits at the front of the area. “[i]Welcome! My colleagues and I are researchers from varying fields. The Boss has assigned us to do a joint project on probability and the emulation of Sornieth’s creation. Since the Thundercrack Carnival starts during our tests, we decided to have a bit of fun with it. We’ll be hatching an egg each day but we have one major problem. None of us have room in our lair for more hatchlings! Therefore, we’re allowing outsiders to help with our research, and maybe take home a new clan member in the process![/i]” Her cheery demeanor is cut short by a loud clang as an intern, who has seemed to be misfired, hits one of the lightning rods at full speed. The two other researchers shout as they scramble to put the nest back together. “[i]WHO IS LETTING AN UNREGISTERED ATTENDED SHOOT THE CANNONS!?!? THIS IS THE THIRD TIME TODAY!!![/i]” The Fae starts shouting at no one in particular, only to remember that she’s currently assisting a guest. “[i]Ahem, forgive me, simply fill out this paperwork and we’ll get your information recorde---- *CLANG* I SWEAR TO STORMCATCHER SOMEBODY SHOULD BE FIRED, PREFERABLY OUT OF THE APPARATUS THEY KEEP USING!!![/i]” She flies off in a huff, leaving the paperwork on the booth-top ready to be filled out. [/quote] RP aside, this is a RNG guessing game. We’ll be hatching 13 eggs throughout both Thundercrack and Dom push week. We’ll be taking peoples guesses and handing out the hatchlings to whoever gets closest to their colors/gender/breed. Between the hustle and bustle of the of Thundercrack visitors, a trio of Skydancer guards helped direct the flow of movement as the stood lookout over the research nest. A spiral, healer by his garb, set the lightning egg down near the main road, along with a small lightning rod. “Looks like it’s a good day to start Thundercrack, huh? Welcome everyone! Hope you have an electrifying time.” “Let me just set this up, and we’ll see if we can get this egg to hatch.” He set the rod in a small metal base, and propped the egg up against up. Staring up at the sky, he yelled, “We’re ready for it Boss!” A quick flash of lightning arced down and struck the metal rod. The egg glowed for a minute as the storm’s power surged through it.
