As a breeder for the
Dragon Wish Foundation I am working on another Derg for someone.
If that looks Familiar, then you probably tripped over my other current Breeding log for a different wish. Truthfully I have usually just made these logs in the Nature forums, but recently decided to make a few here instead. Since @
Ganondorf is sharing their tips and tricks in a Log... I decided to bite the bullet and be social.
I asked to take this Wish because of the Challenge. It is going to be a tricky one and really looks like it will be
frustrating Fun to try! After checking on the AH, I have notice the color range is a bit thin on breeders. The person who requested the wish had quite a few dragon for it already. So I will Start with those and add what I can find. I will most likely have to have pretty wide color ranges at first. Truthfully that is quite common for the Wishes we get, so not a major concern.

As a note. All unneeded Hatchlings may be listed for sale as fodder until they are adult then exalted. If they are exceptionally Pretty they may be listed by Ganondorf int the
Dragonwish Foundation Dragon Sales for fundraising. Please feel free to ask about any I plan on exalting!
I am also open to looking at possible Unrelated dragons that may be useful in producing the needed wish! I do ask if you offer a dragon, remember we buy a lot for these wishes and would appreciate non collector prices. I will be open to borrowing one and returning if you do not wish a derg exalted (hatchlings will be named). I am open to studs if anyone happens to want to volunteer a derg!!
For reference the Wish is for 2 unrelated Imps. Colors close to or exact: The pair needs to be able to produce an offspring of the exact colors listed.
Oilslick/Fire/Lemon. Ire/Shim/Filigree They both need to be Fire Flight.

Alright. I wanted to keep a record of things here. This week has been killing me. Between the heat, feeling ill and not having any spoons to be seen, this slipped away. I will get it caught up.
As I stand. Most dergs have been assayed. and bloodlines look good. I know I have a pair and one of their offspring. I just had not narrowed down who I was keeping, but I may keep the parents since I can use them in two pairings...
After running them through a spreadsheet for colors... I was surprised that NONE of the starting dergs I have would produce the desired offspring with anyone else....
So the hunt was on... I found a few to make a few pairs. AND I have 17 - 22 dergs I need mates for now.. BUT I also found out at least 2 breeders (maybe 3) for the DWF have other wishes that touch, cross or vaguely hint at the range I need.. so I will be digging through their hatchlings!!! after some must needed sleep (and hopefully a few more spoons. I will post my current pairs.

I'll stay here and read from time to time and stalk your nests, as I'm a very curious person. I hope it will get narrowed down soon, and you don't get a lot of those unfortunately one egged nests, with all the wrong colors... *crosses fingers*
