I'm currently doing a personal challenge breeding a triple caribbean from a triple ruby; but I realized that due to the large number of triple/near triple caribbeans out there, this isn't that hard. So I'm going to try to breed for a specific xyz dragon as well. I am looking for algae, dirt, and vermilion (ADV)--since I was looking for one with these three colors during the rainbow road challenge, and couldn't find any. (Looks like in the six color combinations, there is one active and three exalted dragons with those colors) Just to make it more insane, let's try it with rare breeds with long cooldowns. And I may have to give up on the rare breeds/genes, there are just too few dragons available. But that decision can wait a few weeks while Miss Pascal grows up.

I compromised on getting a guardian this time, as it is getting harder to find the right colors. Nest #7 has two eggs, both the same colors, further away from the goal. Uncounted nests later (because I took a hiatus, then felt too discouraged to record them), Marie from above had a second chance with her distant descendent Paul, and this time gave me two hatchlings with algae/dirt/vermilion [img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/avatars/584241/58424011.png[/img] x [img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/avatars/755773/75577229.png[/img] Okay, I just went back and checked, 9 generations between Marie and Paul. My protip for people trying a difficult breeding challenge like this--don't exalt your near misses, den them until they are breedable again a few generations later.
