Ahh I love some of the posts today ;v; And after posting my own but not very good pic and a nice one from online, finally here's one that's nice as well as mine! Volande turned his head in an instant, then he rushed though the flower bushes, two, three quick leaps, spreading his feathered wings for the last one to silently glide down next to the source of the sound - a tiny bird. It laid on its side, pathetically flapping its wings. "It crashed", Volande realized out loud. His frontclaws touched down next to it and before his hindlegs had followed he already opened his maw.[/indent][/columns] [columns]That was, when his familiar had catched up and flew right up to him. Loudly shrieking the Ragepuff started to peck and scratch the Mirror's face. "Ack!", he exclaimed, turning his face away in an effort to shield his eyes from the attack, which wasn't so easy, having four of them. "Alright Alright! Stop it, you noisy wad!" Volande took some steps back and his companion calmed down a little, now hopping around the way smaller bird that looked up to it in confusion. "Really think it'll recover?" Reproachful chirps in return. "Fine...", he said, in the most annoyed way possible and with a sigh, carefully picked the little thing up. Lunch would have to wait, it seemed. That was fun c: The little bird in the pic indeed crashed - it bumped into our window almost two weeks ago along with some other's... Most were fine, but the first one was dead and this little girl, named Tiny, needed some hours of rest in a kitchen towel until she was ready to fly again.

[b]Day 3 - Animals:[/b] Came across these two love birds while walking through a park just as the sun was starting to set... Coincidence that the bread they're eating is shaped like a heart? Perhaps not. [img]https://i.imgur.com/TB0lYut.jpg[/img] And as a bonus... here is a ravenous beast in her natural habitat xD [img]https://i.imgur.com/r3MEccy.jpg[/img]

[b]Animals[/b] So, let me introduce Kadji. He has a very busy day, going out at the crack of dawn (or whatever time he cat flap opens) to prowl the area surrounding Goldia's lair. Reports are in that he monitors the vacant lot behind the lair, checks in on the welfare of the neighbors fish stocks and fertilises their bushes and crosses over the road to the local meeting place under another lair. And I can vouch for the fact that he spends part of most days (not today, that would have helped with this challenge!) surveying Goldia's territory - aka sitting on the top of the car like a sphinx. Of course, after all that, he still manages to 'help' Goldia manage the lair each evening: [img]https://i.imgur.com/3OUAKwU.png[/img]
