Ethereal stared at the nest silently, seemingly willing the eggs to hatch faster. They took their time though, but finally, finally, they hatched, two girls and a boy. Ethereal was pleased, but she still seemed sad. She knew that she must send the hatchlings out into the world to make their own legacy, but she wished she had more time with them. Rafe was not there, and if Ethereal could help it, he would never see them, or her again. She didn't want to break his heart, but she knew that she had to leave, and take her hatchlings away, for his sake and for her own.

Sorry the lore is kind of Bleh. I'm not entirely sure what I'm doing. Anyway, here are the hatchlings!

This is Chase, the boy. He got the runes gene, which I am happy about.

This is Lyra, one of the girls. She has rare eyes.

And this is Keren, the other girl. She is an XYX and she had the runes gene, both of which I am very happy about.

If you want any of the hatchlings, just let me know! They are free (as long as you don't exalt them).

Those are such pretties! I really would love one, but I'm trying to save room for two nests hatching tomorrow. I hope they find good homes, tho!

@Goatherder, @GriffinWings, @RadientAngel Ethereal is now breeding again, this time with another Ethereal! :) He was very kindly lent to me, so his owner gets first pick of the hatchies. There were only two eggs this time, but I'm hoping that at least one of them will have the constellation gene. She heard a branch snap behind her and turned quickly. A large blue imperial stepped out from behind a tree rather sheepishly. They stared at each other for a moment before he said, "Well, I was [i]trying [/i]to be stealthy." Ethereal laughed at the embarrassed look on his face and said, "Why were you following me?" "I don't know." said the imperial. "I was just wondering why you were alone. Are you lost?" "You could say that." said Ethereal. "What's your name?" "Ethereal." said the imperial. A ghost of a smile flickered across Ethereal's lips. "That's funny. That's my name too." "Really?" said Ethereal, twitching his tail, "How intriguing. It seems fortunate that we met then. Would you like to come and rest for a while? You look very tired." Ethereal agreed, and they wandered on in the forest, chatting happily as they went.

Ethereal is now breeding again, this time with another Ethereal! :) He was very kindly lent to me, so his owner gets first pick of the hatchies. There were only two eggs this time, but I'm hoping that at least one of them will have the constellation gene.

I will try to do lore soon, but at this point I really just have too much to do so I don't have the time. :(

Ethereal, as friendly and kind as he was, was gone. She didn't know where he went. Back to his own clan probably. She sighed. It certainly wouldn't be easy to have to let go of everyone that she grew fond of over the course of her quest. She shook her head. Everyone she was fond of was at the end her quest. The others didn't matter. She needed to focus. One of the eggs twitched, and Ethereal leaned forward, her nose almost touching the egg as it cracked open and revealed a beautiful little fae girl who shone like the stars. Her brother followed soon after. And here are the hatchlings! This is the girl, an Azure Starmap / Caribbean Constellation / Caribbean Firefly fae with arcane common eyes. She is so pretty! I was so excited to get an XYY with those genes! Because the Ethereal that my Ethereal bred with was lent by someone else, his owner got first pick of the hatchlings and this is the one that they chose, so this one is not available.

This is the boy, a Caribbean Starmap / Phthalo Alloy / Robin Runes with arcane common eyes. He didn't get the constellation gene, but he is still super cute, and also available for free to a good home!
