I am finally going to do a Pinkerlocke, which I've been wanting to do for quite a while now, with a few modifications, because I already know I won't be doing lore/art, at least, not when Pinkerton tells me to.
Modifications:
Buying dragons;
I will roll a D4. If I get a 1, I will use the Nature auction house instead of the Realm Wide auction house.
Instead of just buying the cheapest dragon of a specific species (randomly rolled), I will roll a D10 and buy the dragon in the corresponding slot on the page of the cheapest dragons.
Materials/Trinkets;
I will roll 2D20, and add the numbers up. That's how many times I will battle, according to medium mode rules.
Food; (the biggest change)
Take note of the food type.
For dragons that primarily eat that food type, flip a coin. Tails, it becomes sick.
For dragons that eat that food type as their second choice, roll a D4. 1, it becomes sick.
For dragons that eat that food type as their third choice, roll a D6. 1, it becomes sick.
For dragons that eat that food type as their fourth choice, roll a D8. 1, it becomes sick.
For dragons that do not eat that food type at all, and for heads/numbers greater than 1, nothing happens.
The next day, flip a coin for each sick dragon. Tails, they die. Exalt.
Lastly, though not really a rule that's spelled out in the original Pinkerlocke, they will all be trained as mages. I don't have eliminates to throw around.

Now for the first trio of dragons!
D4 rolls: 3, 2, 3. Realm wide!
Species rolls: 13, 10, 8. Skydancer, Wildclaw, Imperial.
I have selected Adult for age just this one first time, because I don't really want to wait around for the babies to grow up before I can start using them.
Aaaand a drumroll for the three starter dragons!
Shift, Knell, and Huffle! I really like Shift and Knell. Huffle, though, I have never liked Imperials.
It's a good thing my first "present" from Pinkerton was a fish, then.
And Huffle got tails.
The others are okay, because they don't eat all my dang fish.
I am a mean dragon owner.
