Generation J hatched! Iago and Inigo are now the proud parents of two! [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=34191141] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/341912/34191141_350.png[/img] [/url] The son, Juliana [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=34191143] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/341912/34191143_350.png[/img] [/url] The daughter, Jolene The trouble is, I can't decide who should be my heir. I am almost equally fond of their grown-up colours, (with a slight preference towards Juliana's.) And almost equally fond of their names (with a slight preference to Jolene's because I know someone with a very similar names to Juliana and it seems strange to have a permanent dragon with that name when it's such a unique name). So that balances it out. Then I went looking for mates, thinking that might help. Nope. Juliana's potential mate brings a great possibility for a gene upgrade to poison, but if that fails, the offspring will still be stuck in the red/orange ripple range I've been in since generation H. Jolene's potential mate will cause her to keep ripple for another generation (unless I am highly lucky) but I will most likely get into a different range of colours. If I choose Juliana, I will be buying myself a renaming scroll and shortening it to Julian because I don't want my dragon to have almost the same name as a friend who almost joined flight rising and still might join in the future. I'll come back when I have decided. In the meantime, any opinions from you all are welcome.

My Generation C heir was finally ready to breed today, and I snagged a nice Spiral lad for her mate--he was either the third or fourth dragon on the first page of my AH search, too, and the scries of their potential babies are pretty darn cute, so I'm much more positively inclined towards him than I was the Gen B mate. (It also helps that I didn't get one-egged again, LOL.)
