“I know the trek towards the Observatory can be a long one, and any good story deserves a good snack, so why not buy one for yourself or friends?” Lorelei then pushes her order forms towards you, which has a list of the different care packages she’s created.

But... maybe remove those barbs first... or keep them there to make people afraid of your dish. The choice is yours! [*]Place the now cooked urchin and spiky pear slices in the center of the dish, on top of the now pink and sometimes crunchy fig paste with pointy bits. It should really pop as a great centerpiece. DracoLeo’s Spiky Starfall Surprise
Cost: 10000 Treasure or 10 Gems


Halcyon REALLY likes putting bugs into foods she shouldn't.

What’s Needed:
  • Tuxedo Urchin - 1x Tuxedo Urchin
  • Irradiated Pear - 1x Irradiated Pear
  • Manaweed - 3x Manaweed
  • Butcher's Fig - 2x Butcher’s Fig
  • Egghead Infiltrator - 2x Egghead Infiltrator
  • Corona Sempervivum - 1x Corona Sempervivum

Directions:
  1. Move any and all toxins from your Tuxedo urchin, any radiation from your Irradiated pear, and any venom from your Egghead infiltrator. See "The Arcanite's Guide to Local Foodstuffs" (not included) for further instruction if necessary. No need for any poisoned dinner guests who aren't used to the odd food that's different than the odd food they're probably used to. cough cough Plague

Blueberry’s Starlight Salad

As the chef for a small but food-loving clan, Blueberry is called to cook every food known to dragonkind, including those he doesn't eat himself. This, however, is a favorite recipe he developed in the early days, for dark nights alone with his mate. No need for candles - this salad glows all on its own!

  2. Shred the Dusk Jadevines and place in a large bowl. Add Star Moss.
  3. Slice the Glow Mushrooms and add them to the bowl.
  4. Cut Ashfall Prickler in two and pour its sauce into the bowl. Mix.
  5. Carefully open the container of Starfall Blossoms, checking to make sure no flowers remain intact. Arrange on top of the salad.
  6. Serve immediately, before the sun rises.
Note: For best results, this recipe should be prepared and served at night.

Embla tends the Clan's garden and crops. Although not an Arcane dragon herself, she loves the unusual things that grow in the Arcane territory! The stranger the better. This dish combines sweet and sour flavours and is the perfect addition to an evening of storytelling around the campfire! Or anywhere, really. Edda is one of the Clan's creative types (she's a poet) and she loves to listen to her fellow storytellers weave tales and legends while munching on a delicious bag of Celebration Crunch of an evening. It's the perfect portable snack.

What’s Needed:
  • Glittering Lacewing - 1x Glittering Lacewing
  • Rainbow Grasshopper - 1x Rainbow Grasshopper
  • Two-Tone June Beetle - 1x Two-Tone June Beetle
  • Glow Mushroom - 2x Glow Mushrooms

Directions:
  1. Chop all of the insects into equally sized pieces, making sure to leave each piece large enough to easily pick up in your claws, and mix them together.
    [o]If you are serving large dragons (as opposed to a group of Fae) you may wish to leave the insects whole and simply pierce the carapace all the way through both sides. This will make them easier to pick up!
  2. Place the insects in a dish and roast gently for around 30 minutes - this will enhance their natural sweet and sour flavours (and also make the acquired taste of the Rainbow Grasshopper more palatable).
  3. While they are roasting, make a Glow Mushroom Syrup!
    • Dice up your glow mushroom finely.
    • Heat some oil in a skillet and add the mushroom, cooking over a moderate heat until the glow starts to intensify (after around 5 minutes).
    • Add a generous amount of water and bring to a boil over a high heat.
    • Continue to boil until the liquid has reduced by two-third and the glow has completely transferred from the mushrooms to the liquid. (You can test this by removing a piece of mushroom and inspecting it - if it still glows, keep reducing!)
    • Once it's ready, strain the liquid to remove the pieces of mushroom.
  4. When the insects have finished roasting, toss them in the Glow Mushroom Syrup until they are lightly coated and gently glowing - but don't use too much, as you still want to see the glitter of the insects' wings and carapaces through the syrup!
  5. The insects are tasty to eat hot or cold and will keep their glow for around 24 hours.

Sigarni likes to make this on occasion and have it waiting for her mate when he gets home after a long day slogging through the Mire with trainees. It has proven to be a favorite treat for him, and he likes it so much that he forgets that there's actually plants in it. (Shhhh don't remind him.)

What’s Needed:
  • Balsas Anole - 3x Balsas Anoles
  • Red Delicious Apple - 2x Red Delicious Apples

  • Blood Acorn - 2x Blood Acorns

Directions:
  1. Fillet the balsas anoles and set aside.
  2. Peel and core the apples, then slice and arrange in the bottom of a clay baking dish (coat the dish with some oil or chimera butter for ease of cleanup).
  3. Grate the stick of cinnamon and sprinkle it over the apples.
  4. Crack open the acorns and collect the nectar in a bowl. Then, pulverize the meat of the acorns until you have coarse crumbs.
  5. Baste the acorn nectar over the anole fillets; then, dip the fillets into the crumb mixture until they have a crunchy coating on them.
  6. Bake for half an hour at the heat made by two burning cedar logs.

This Guardian will eat anything, but his favorite meal is a rather fancy one inspired by the fine cuisine found in his homeland. It is absolutely best if chimera butter is used. How do you get chimera butter? Well from chimera milk, of course. How do you milk a chimera?! VERY CAREFULLY.

What’s Needed:
