[sub][sub]cough cough Plague[/sub][/sub] [*] Slice your pear into strips, and lay them around the urchin. Bake until both are gooey and probably safe to eat, but not completely through. If you do, there will be next to nothing left of the meat of the urchin, and the pears will start to glow really weird. [*]Mash your Mana weeds and figs into a semi-sweet thick paste. It tastes good, and sparkles in a really cool way too. It can be baked or left as is in accordance to preference. Spread in the dish that will hold your completed meal. [*]Those scorpion things? Can be eaten perfectly raw or cooked until crunchy(er). We really don't know what they have to add to this recipe. Press them into the paste wherever you want. But... maybe remove those barbs first... or keep them there to make people afraid of your dish. The choice is yours! [*]Place the now cooked urchin and spiky pear slices in the center of the dish, on top of the now pink and sometimes crunchy fig paste with pointy bits. It should really pop as a great centerpiece. Now, this dish can be either served cold or placed back in your made-in-the-Blacksand-Annex oven to be served hot! It's really up to you! We're not really sure why this recipe was thought up in the first place, but we hope you have fun with it! Oh yeah, not done yet: [*]Take a succulent. Or all the succulents. Decorate your dish. [*]Combine the Cinnamon with the Blood Acorn until the acorn is completely coated: this is your crumble mix. [*]Peel and core one Red Delicious Apple. Cut the second apple in two, core it and peel one half, setting the other half aside for later. (Eat the peel, it's yummy and good for you!) Chop the peeled apple finely into slithers. Also cut two of the Raspberries in half. [*]Place the prepared fruit in the base of a dish and add a splash of water, then place the Blood Apple crumble mix over the top, covering the fruit. [*]Place the insects in a dish and roast gently for around 30 minutes - this will enhance their natural sweet and sour flavours (and also make the acquired taste of the Rainbow Grasshopper more palatable). [*]While they are roasting, make a Glow Mushroom Syrup! [LIST] [*]Dice up your glow mushroom finely. [*]Heat some oil in a skillet and add the mushroom, cooking over a moderate heat until the glow starts to intensify (after around 5 minutes). [*]Add a generous amount of water and bring to a boil over a high heat. [*]Continue to boil until the liquid has reduced by two-third and the glow has completely transferred from the mushrooms to the liquid. (You can test this by removing a piece of mushroom and inspecting it - if it still glows, keep reducing!) [*]Once it's ready, strain the liquid to remove the pieces of mushroom. [/LIST][*]When the insects have finished roasting, toss them in the Glow Mushroom Syrup until they are lightly coated and gently glowing - but don't use too much, as you still want to see the glitter of the insects' wings and carapaces through the syrup!
