[*]On the resulting pop up, copy the code labeled "BBcode"

[*]You only need to copy the code labeled "HTML" if you wish to share your dragon on another site that uses HTML formatting

FR uses BBCode! So for posting here on the forums, in dragon bios, user profiles, etc you would copy the BBcode option.

Just as a heads up, it looks like you're not copying the whole code!
The [url= is missing from the front! That part of the code is what makes the image itself link back to the dragons page. So while removing it still shows the link as text, you end up not being able to click the dragon.
For a full reference, here's what the code should look like for the dragon you tested with!

Yep!
Anything inside the url brackets will be linked! So in the case of dragon images the image code is contained inside the url code - so the image itself becomes a link.
For posting other images or if you don't want to link the dragon but still show its image, you wouldn't need any of the url code.
The generate code option bundles them together is all. If you want to have an image of the dragon that links to its page then copying the whole of the code is your best bet!
