TOPIC | How to obtain rare items! (AH tips)
Hello! I have noticed it can be difficult for new players to obtain the first year festival items (Or any rare items in general) so I decided to make a small guide. Please let me know if my numbers are off and I will change them ASAP. So how much do festival items cost? It is different for each item so here is the cost of festival items. (Treasure ratios change so it will be gems only for now) This is how much the first year items are worth currently. The auction house inflates and deflates so this may not be the current prices. I will talk more about this later. Sunchaser Jewelry . It is pretty much just saving enough treasure to buy your item. I do not recomend this method for items that cost over 4,000 gems. In the fairgrounds you can make up to 75,000 treasure a day though this could take an hour or two. Artifracture is the best game to earn treasure quickly. As for the the coliseum, it can be a much quicker way to earn treasure; However, It rquires a good bit of starting treasure to set up a team. Vist Culex's guide for more information about the coliseum. It can be found here: http://www1.flightrising.com/forums/gde/1040710 Method 2 - Misclicks Some people prefer to list an item for more than it is worth and hope someone will accidentally buy it. I would not recommend listing the item over 200% more than it is currently listed for as people may not have the money on hand to buy it. (This only works if the price is within the price ranges above) It will require starting cash to buy your item. I recommend playing in the fairgrounds until you have enough treasure to buy something that isn't as costly, such as the Nature or Water holiday items. You can then use the gems to buy better items and repeat the process until you can afford the item you want. *Please note: Waiting for misclicks requires a TON of patience and is best used with the coliseum or fairgrounds method. This goes for method three as well. Method 3 - Raising prices This is my favorite method but it does require patience (It normally doesn't take as long as waiting for misclicks) and messaging people. The Auction house prices inflate and deflate due to supply and demand. This can be used to your advantage. Similar to Method 2 you will want to overprice an item. For this I would recommend pricing the item at 200-300% more than it is worth. The goal is to have other people to price their items much higher as well. Once around 3-5 people have posted over the normal prices remove your item from the Auction House. Now you can ask people who have a higher value item listed in the auction house to trade. Iet's say you had raised the price of a frigid fugitive shackles to 10,000 gems and you saw a Fire Sprite listed for 9,000 gems. You should pm a seller to see if they would like to trade. (This example is one of my successful trades) *This can take a long time and is best used with Method one. General AH notes Avoid buying Earth or Lighting items to trade up (They don't have much of a demand) All the methods will take a while and are best used together Don't be upset if someone does not want to trade Thank you for reading! If you have any comments, questions, or tips of your own please post below. I know the prices. Now what?

Firstly you will need to know the price of your goal item. There are a few ways to get your item. I personally prefer method 3.

Method 1 - Coliseum / Fairgrounds

This method is good if you have the spare time to put into Flight Rising.

It can be found here: http://www1.flightrising.com/forums/gde/1040710

Method 2 - Misclicks

Some people prefer to list an item for more than it is worth and hope someone will accidentally buy it.

Method 3 - Raising prices

This is my favorite method but it does require patience (It normally doesn't take as long as waiting for misclicks) and messaging people.

(This example is one of my successful trades)

*This can take a long time and is best used with Method one.

General AH notes

Avoid buying Earth or Lighting items to trade up (They don't have much of a demand)
All the methods will take a while and are best used together
Don't be upset if someone does not want to trade
