The votes are based off what people post. The person that seems the most suspicious is often considered the most likely to be mafia, which is what people place their votes on.

Hello! It’s been a while. I got side tracked and forgot about this for a bit but I wanted to double check and run a few by everyone real quick.
Would everyone be willing to play with 9 people? The set up would be 2 mafia and 7 town. It’d be a much shorter game in that regards but if everyone is willing to play that way then that’s fine too!!
Otherwise, since it’s been long enough that I’m sure interest has dropped, if you would no longer like to play let me know! I’ll take you off the list and most likely postpone (?) this game for a bit.
