Now, Tuesday's game! The Golden Canopy Clan loooves its food, and has a lot of dragons involved in collecting and making it. They also sell a great deal! Along with arts and crafts, it's one of their primary incomes. Since there are so many, I'll mostly just link them, aside from my two head chefs:
Sorrel is a small Fae with an ego the size of an Imperial. He believes that cooking is an ART, and therefore, he is an ARTEEST, and will argue with people for... a very long time over this. His food is excellent, though, so most people just ignore the arrogance! He does get on pretty well with a select few, particularly his mate Titania and his apprentice
Molly (who specialises in cakes, but does help with large-scale food prep for the whole clan).
The other head chef is significantly nicer, heh. Lia isn't just a chef, she's also a mage - she can whip up soups to cheer you up, pies to help you focus, the works. (With permission, of course!) Most of her food is just the regular kind, but if you need something to help you sleep, you should totally go see Lia for a tasty cake.
Now, primary gatherers! The two with the biggest jobs are
Xandra (bug catching) and
Equinox (hunting), since the clan is made up largely of Fae, Spirals, Nocturnes, and other insectivores and carnivores. Of course, there are a few primary seafood-eaters and plant-eaters, but much of what
Layne (fisher) and
Astrid (forager) collects goes towards enhancing the meals of others. Being a predominantly Nature-based clan, they do eat a lot of fresh produce!
Other important roles! There's a lot of food needed to feed ninety dragons, after all! The clan has a baker,
Aisling (Astrid's mate, actually!), who also harvests wheat and rice herself, there's
Ori, who tends to the clan's chickens and collects their eggs (the chickens are strictly not food, though! Don't ever mention the words 'chicken soup' around him, he'll cry),
Ani, who tends to the orchards and also preserves fruits and vegetables for leaner times, a tea maker,
Rishi (who is also the clan's herbalist), and
Beckett, a tiny bee child who tends to the clan's hives and produces honey to sweeten their foods.
Beckett, Ani, and Rishi also sell excess produce, one of the clan's methods of making money. To this venture, they're also aided by
Briar (who grows roses and makes things, including edibles, from them - rose petal jam is delicious!), and
Rye selfie dragon!, who makes cheeses, including nut cheeses, and roasts and flavours nuts in general.
Teaming up with the sellers above is the Candy Coalition! Led by candy maker
Elysia, with the other main members being pie maker
Strudel and flying ice cream store
Ambrosia, the trio love to travel around Sornieth and share goodies for everyone, selling their products as well as Beckett's, Molly's, and Rye's. Sweets for all!
Finally, last but definitely not least, all clans worth their salt
must have a brewer/bartender. In that case, meet
