What a neat looking Spiral. Love those faceted eyes.
I'd have to say that Orin is my most cherished gen1. When I first hatched him I was a bit iffy of his colors. This is what he looked like first hatched.

I bought this Gen 1 back in June for 15 gems in honor of the player who introduced me to FR as they were/still are from Lightning.
I try not to spend gems on dragons because they are so hard to earn (unless you pay up) but decided to make this my only exception at the time since I would look for Lightning ones in AH and she was still there after like 3 days.
I originally wanted the genes to be Lightning looking and they were gonna be Tiger/Trail/Crackle originally which is why I didn't get her day 1.
As I scry a Gen 1/derg before making a purchase I scried her with the genes but her tert color made it horible for crackle.
In the last moment before she would become an adult I scried her again to remind myself why I didn't get her the first time and then I guess out of boredom decided to switch her tert to Thylacine and BAM!!! Lightning looking as it makes her wings look as if the lightning just spread from it.
I paid for them even if Gem Sale and I still love her.
