Descendants of the most treasured of the Lightweaver first, and then other elemental gods, 'Jewelry Dragons', as they have come to be known by do indeed embody the beauty and value by which they are named. [center][b]Lore[/b][/center] Long ago the Lightweaver wished to reward those dragons which had performed great service to her. By her blessing, she gave them a great gift; to shine as only the brightest of metals might allow, and to sparkle as the finest of gemstones. In time, the other elemental gods noticed this, and imitated her. Such rewards were rare, and rightfully so; and it was not long before what would be later known as jewelry dragons to be nearly impossible to find. Even so, once in a great while one breeds true, a reminder as to the potential beauty and reward that dedication to a higher power can bring. Although the first Jewelry dragons were indeed made by the hand (err, paw?) of the Lightweaver, she was copied, first by the Earthshaker, then the others. Eventually jewelry dragons became a symbol for all, beautiful and radiant, even as their numbers slowly declined. Although still rare, their numbers are starting to return with the reawakening of the elemental god dragons, a s occasionally a new dragon is elevated without exhalation to this status, and their descendants, if lucky, might carry on their traits.
