It is a cloudy, windy day and rain is starting to come down from the grey clouds rolling in. You look around the quickly emptying streets and scan the swinging signs for evidence of your target. There! A small shop sits in a corner of the street, a small, but well made sign pinned to an orange-leaved tree outside. You speed up, the rain coming down harder, and slip through the door to "Ari's Trinkets" You step into the colorful shop, marveling at the pretty items adorning every surface. Polished crystals and sparkling shiny things sat on one shelf, carefully arranged. Paintings and statuettes in one corner, wooden carvings in the next. You can't help but let your jaw drop at the sheer amount of items, well, [i]everywhere[/i] [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=39359371] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/393594/39359371_350.png[/img] [/url] A small, scattered imperial looks up from his place on an incredibly crowded desk covered in papers and, as the sign read, trinkets. "Oh! Hello, welcome to Ari's Trinkets! Uh- my name is, well, Aeikyer," He says, with a slight stutter. You wonder how to pronounce his name. "But I usually go by Ari.. So, uhm, how may I help you?" [center]~~~~~[/center] Heya! So, the bored little butt I am decided to make one of these game things to help better my writing skills! Be sure to write a bit of dialogue to help me, and have fun! She looks around, carefully inspecting each trinket that catches her eye. She seems less interested in the shiny and polished items, and more interested in the duller looking pieces, "you wouldn't happen to have any items on the, er, older side, would you? Maybe a nice aged painting or rusted relic?" She takes a nice long look at a large painting of some flowers on the wall, before continuing, "y'know, I'm quite learned in some of these things. Maybe for a bit of coin I could tell you of a few of your items that are severely underpriced."

Ari paused. "Oh, uhm, yes, I have a few selections of much older items, and I do understand my prices may be low. I should probably raise them soon..." He dragged. "I do like to have my items available to dragons with not as much money as others, though!" He brightened. "Ah yes, aged items!'' Ari led her to a back corner of the shop, holding a couple flaky paintings and cracked statues. A strangely shaped hunk of greenish metal sat on a small table. "Not my best items, but still pretty old.."

A small, wrinkly looking creature is the source, staring up at the Imp with its wide, unblinking eyes. It has a cookie dangling from its mouth and its tail seems to be wagging slightly.[/i] [b]"Smhaggagaggy?"[/b] [i]Snaggy the Scraggy points to the Imperial's scarf with a little front stub. She seems interested in it, or in buying something remotely scarf-like anyways. It appears she thinks her cookie will be an adequate form of payment. If Ari pays attention to the cabinets behind the odd little thing, he'd see a number of face imprints in the glass too. Of course...she walked into those by accident.[/i]

The star spirit princess is immediately drawn to the charms and crystals and turns some of them over in her claws. "This is a very nice store you've got here!" she admires. She loves these stores- and more often than not there's some latent magical item in the shelves. The magical item of this store is a small trinket with a ruby set in the center. "Oh, um, sir? Ari?" Rajani waves him over. "I'm rather interested in purchasing some crystals for my spells, but more importantly..." A silver spark jumps from her claws to the trinket. The ruby lights up with a crimson glow and Rajani laughs. "This is a magical item. Were you aware? I'm not sure what the purpose is, but there's some strong magic coming from it."

Ari looked down at the small creature pointing to his scarf, confused. "Oh, uhm, my scarf? I knitted that myself, actually... I have a few I've made for sale if you're interested- I also have other scarves of other materials.." He looked back down at her, scanning her. She didn't seem to have any currency... This was a first for him, since his shop had just recently opened, and he didn't know what to do. If only Lindir was here... he shrugged slightly and pulled a box from underneath his desk, opening it and revealing a bunch of random knitted squares and a couple long scarves. He held a shorter orange one to show her. "Would this do? Wait..."

Ari's ears lowered and a spark of interest crossed his face. "No, I wasn't aware! That is actually quite interesting.. Maybe my friend Highflyer can check it out.. She's good with stuff like this, at least from what I've heard from her..." he paused. "Or, uh, the records! I should have something on a magic ruby... mirror? Yeesh, I should do more research on my collection..." he droned.

Ari rushed to his desk, sending a couple papers flying. He skimmed through a massive file holder and pulled out a paper, smiling at Rajani. Reading, he said "this is it! Apparently it... always makes you look beautiful? You wouldn't need that since-" he stopped himself and blushed.
"Uhm, I mean... that's pretty strange.." read a bit further. Quoting the page, he recited "This artifact was meant to show true beauty, but the enchanter failed to properly recite the ritual needed and charged the mirror with just pure magic energy, mostly, but it could fix small flaws in appearance." He nodded slightly.
"Well, this is strange... anyway, we have a large selection of crystals on that shelf, and possibly more enchanted items, well, anywhere... Thank you for informing me of this!" He made a mental note to discount the price of whatever Rajani bought.

Her grabby hands tried to reach a large piece of polished lapis, but luckily she was still too small. She grumbled in frustration. Then all os a sudden Sinopa appeared too!! Her inner Nogitsune (Kitsune subspecies) kicked in as she tried to start chewing said wooden object until a young Coatl grabbed her and her pack mate. I had turned my back on them for two seconds and they disappeared on me. I’ll be happy to pay for the damages. I’m Arodan, the clan’s hatchling sitter.” Nebula gave a snort and Arodan frowned at her. “I hope Nebula’s entitled behavior wasn’t offensive. And please forgive Sinopa; she’s a little wild since out Matriarch found her in the forest alone.” Arodan grabbed the ruined wooden now chew toy and gave it to Sinopa and also the polished Lapis for Nebula and paid for each so that the hatchlings would hopefully be compliant for the rest of the trip as well as paying additional to help cover any damages.

Aeikyer smiled at the Arodan. "It's fine! I hope they enjoy their trinkets, and hope you have a nice day rest of the day! I know how you feel! When I was working to afford this place, I did a lot of sitting!" He stretched his sparkly wings slightly and said to the imperial hatchling, Nebula, "We look very similar! Almost twins!" He laughed. He liked children. Turning to Sinopa, he said "You have an eye for good wood! That's *insert kinda fancy wood type here*, good for carving, and, well, chewing!"

Nebula snuffed and gazed at his opals while fluttering hers. Her head almost spinning as she tried to get closer but her guardian held her tight. She squealed in protest as Arodan bowed to Aeikyer again to thank him. Sinopa squealed in excitement at Aeikyer’s comment and would have snuggled him if Arodan wasn’t escorting them out the amazing wonderland of a shop.
