He's also quite lazy, and loves soaking in lava pools to relieve his old bones, as well as drink and eat while telling stories. He's a venerated warrior and many seek combat advice from him.

He has been searching for somewhere peaceful but everywhere he has gone there are beast clans attacking or fighting amongst brethren. He came to our lair for a meal and a nights rest, just passing through, when he discovered that he could relax with us. As we are a clan of mostly elders, he fit right in and he felt it right away. You can now usually find him by the door of our lair. He loves to read anything he can get his claws on, so you will either find him reading, chatting with a youngster, or watching the horizon.

Romulus has been roaming Sornieth forever it seems.
In a world where you can be anything... Be nice.

Not all dragons can see the two golden rings, each one studded with purple eyes, but you have the gift, as questionable a gift it is. The ancient dragon - for he is indeed ancient, there is no doubt in your mind - seems much larger than his body, a great pressure that surrounds him, betraying the presence of a greater whole. But despite the creeping dread of laying eyes on something you're sure is far too pure to be seen, Ophanim's advice is only second to the Weyrleader's in its usefulness, and even then surpasses his in the realm of secret things. His wings unfurl as you speak, impossibly large, patterned with feathers and always looking as if they have a light behind them, the membrane seeming to glow. His black eyes are on you now; for a moment you wonder why a being so full of Light would have eyes so black, but the thought dissolves like mist in the sun. You can almost see the stars in them, alien constellations you've never seen before. You almost forget the urgency of why you're here for moment as you stare into them. "A monster in the ruins? You have done good to tell me, little one." His voice is low and creaky, like he doesn't use it much, but despite its quietness, it booms as loud as a thundercrack in your mind. He turns, and he leaves. Ophanim, the Light-Bringer, the Wheel. An ancient being of pure Light who has settled in the Weyr due to its proximity to the Hewn City, where he can watch over the place he sealed a pair of abominations, Lady Haima and the Krow, from beyond the folds of time and space. But the bonds are weakening, the prison of two stolen draconic bodies fraying at the edges...

Sanctus espiritus, redeem us from our solemn hour.

Mostly known to be a spectre, wandering the border between the Scarred Wasteland and the Windswept Plateau and vanishing into seemingly nothing.

A long time has passed since she retired from being a long time brood mother to live a more active lifestyle and explore the world, and only recently has she settled down in one place again, though only in the interest of her own self preservation. She's very knowledgeable in survival and stealth and uses that knowledge to train and advise her current clan's budding warriors. Rough around the edges from her long life, she prefers to hide the fact that she has a soft spot for eager young'uns, especially her rather hopeless apprentice Dolon.

He was the original coliseum team but was forced to retire due to his old age (also he just wasn't very good). He was the healer, wasn't very good at it but his love of the battle made him perfect for the job. Now, he's just old and grumpy.

She spends her time now basking in the sun just out of the water, on the meadow at the banks of a massive river that connects to the sea where her lair's vast network begins. The clan regards their eldest member as their historian, seeking her out to clear up misinformation regarding ancestry, mostly, but also to verify historical discrepancies that so often happen in a lair comprised of so many different flights and cultures. Even the beastclan lair members have come to regard her as an accurate and authoritative source in all things history (though few would say the same when it comes to her tea- that stuff tastes like the forest floor smells!) She isn't as forthcoming about her own past though. It would seem her mild manner and carefully worded history lessons reflect her own cautious relief in finally making it past a trialsome life. *** I adopted this dragon from The Imperious old imperial adoption thread. I adopted this dragon from The Imperious old imperial adoption thread. She is my oldest dragon in both lore and actuality =D She was treated to a scatter scroll, new genes, artwork, and everything else such a deserving dragon should have ^.^
The "trialsome" life really only refers to having been an "orphan" on the adoption thread for a while. The drifter that she was didn't have a permanent lair for a while. I'm sure she recalls her childhood lair(s) quite fondly.

He died long ago to starvation, but some odd variety of virus made by the pestilent deity ripped him out from slumber to command once more. He serves loyally though the decay has made him weaker than he once was. Nice enough to keep the weak safe from the strong though, so he's not the picture of an evil dragon that most plague mirrors are.
