I've seen people creating threads keeping track of their breeding / gene / apparel projects for quite a while now. It's often easier to put all of your project information in one place, where you can find it!
That's the purpose of the Project Dragon Share Hub-- to help you organize all of your projects in one neat, orderly, forum thread!
Basically, each person starts by making a single post in this forum thread. In that post, they list the details of whatever projects they are planning on doing. The details of the project can include pictures, scries... really, anything you want!
If the details of your projects change, e.g. if you're planning a new project, scrapping an old one, or simply need to update the project's status, just edit your old post! This helps prevent the forum from becoming too clogged up.
If another user sees one of your projects and would like to help, has questions, or is interested in buying something that your project has subsequently given you a lot of (like hatchlings, items, ext.), then they should either send you a PM, or ping you to get your attention in the Project Dragon Share Discussion Forum.
This thread is only for posting your projects, not discussing them.
To ensure your post doesn't get lost, it is probably best to get the link of the post itself, rather than wandering through pages of what you're NOT looking for.
To get the link to your post, look at the top right-hand corner of your post once it is published. You should see a grey symbol that looks like a piece of a chain. Clicking that symbol should automatically copy the link to your post. Once you have done that, you can put the link practically anywhere you want, though preferably somewhere you'll be able to find it again. ;3
