The combination of jaguar and butterfly, too, isn't something I'd considered, but which look lovely together.[/columns] [columns]Wenceslas's spooky, but [i]bright[/i] coloration reminds me vaguely of a poison dart frog. Threatening, perhaps, but only to those who've earned whatever's coming to them. The addition of the Gold Filigree apparel gives, as well, some texture to the otherwise rather basic dragon - the limited patterning seems, in this case, well-balanced. An element of that balance is likely the wind primal eyes, which add a bit more detail. Also, the blooming hedgehide fits surprisingly well with the dragon - I wouldn't have expected the plant, including so much "heavy" green, to match, but it does![/columns]

The first think I liked about him was the matching primary and secondary; I love how the genes make the contrast between black and white! It looks like marble, and I've wanted a dragon like that for a while. Then comes his tertiary, which I LOVE. You can see it faintly on his arms and legs, and his horns are amazing. I definitely need more dragons like this, and his lore is so well written and organized! I love how it overlaps with Corsair's lore. He definitely makes me want to get more red dragons.

Him (and his mate) both use the grasp apparel really well, I think -- it flows really nicely with the wings and the secondary color. I'm also one of those people who think that, especially on FR dragons, the black primary-colored secondary combo really stands out, especially with purple. The cards are a super nice touch, too! The candles + the grasp apparel also really work nicely together. She's very good! I like her bio too. Snappers always look so friendly to me, it's great to just embrace that with ribbons and scarves and a cute familiar. Sometimes you just have to give some love to the eyeburn — the fan and the butterflies are also the perfect apparel for the wild color combination. 10/10 absolutely delicious, definitely radioactive, I love it.

I love ghost on imperials, I find it displays the rib bones especially well, and their faces look even more delicate overlain with skull fragments. robin bee was a good choice for his icy theme. The dark armour that you chose contrasts nicely with his brighter colours. Also again, simpler is better, and leaves a lot to her natural look, as well as keeping her personality interesting and intimidating. She's 3 years old! That's a lot of years to practice sword or knife fighting. Pretty sure she's could win any knife-fighting competition. All in all, very interesting lair! Her genes and her colors allude to this should be fact even further. I love the minimal apapreal on Larimar. The decision allows her true beauty to shine through. I have a bias for female Skydancers as well. The ice eyes give him a certain personality as the controller of the dark or the deity of the night. Being a triple XXX, the genes given to him make him pop despite being all the same color. Gleam is a gorgeous dragon, and I am giving him a 10/10 with that accent in place as well.[/columns]

Those soft yet deep purple colors are wonderful, and really give him a nice, majestic and gentle look. I really love how his accent blends in with the rest, it looks like it was made for him. I'm not usually a big fan of Starmap, but it really works here - since a lot of the "star" patterns are hidden by the accent, it looks way more subtle. And since the accent already adds some jewels and shiny ornaments, the few pieces of apparel he has are enough to give him a very fancy look. He's wonderful! Starry might be my favourite dragon of yours. I can't believe how amazing he looks! His soft purple colors with the golden touches of his apparel and accent? Wonderful. And I like the darker colors from his coat and shoulder guard, they brings some nice contrast. His outfit is a mix of several apparel sets, which is something I always like - he looks more unique, and feels like he has way more personnality, that way. He's another example of a dragon with nice genes that don't catch your attention too much , it's very subtle and very, very nice. The blue stripes on her wings helps ties it all together in such a nice way. And, of course, Ice Ghost is always wonderful. She's a spooky yet colorful little squeleton, and I love her. What a lovely combo of colors, apparel and accent. He's very soft and pastel, but has a bit of a villain look to him too... It's very nice. That banner looks exceptionnaly nice on him, it looks big and colorful next to his other colors. I also really like that he has both Ripple and Gembond, two genes you don't see very often but that can be absolutely beautiful - and, here, they really are. He has a fairly simple design, with a few pieces of apparel and some nice and not too busy genes, but it's all he needs to be beautiful. Savannah is a beautiful gene, and I really like the very "natural" look it gives to his body. The colors and markings on his legs are very nice. His fiery wings and mane looks great with Constellation shiny stars, I really like how it makes his hair (fur? feathers?) sparkle. My favourite part though has to be how well his Capsule belly and wing apparel match. It's litteraly perfect? Since his other colors are pretty soft and natural, the Cherry really looks vibrant and colorful, and the plumed cover looks perfect with it.

@ColonelChicken Such a small lair just makes it ten times harder not to choose everyone! I did my best though! I mean, what gene even looks [i]bad[/i] on bogsneaks? I feel like they're the undiscovered fashion model of the dragon world. Their relaxed but not quite relaxed clearly fake-relaxed pose, that head tilt like she knows her good side, and I just love her spines! You can barely see them! She probably accidentally pricks people a lot with them because they blend into her so well! Or, maybe not blend in, but the lionfish gene is definitely a distracting gene! I can see her using that to her advantage in the coliseum, moving this way and that while charging, and the enemy is trying to focus on the pattern and where are her [i]eyes[/i] and BOOM!! It's too late, they've been hit and now they gotta tussle it out or die trying. It almost makes me think there's an orange moon hanging over the sky which, while not quite unnerving, is certainly enough to make someone question her. Her being a matriarch, I can't help but wonder if she uses the night sky to ask or predict the future of her family. She was found wandering, but maybe she asked the stars to help her? Maybe not find her family, but to find somewhere safe. And the stars went 'well go this way and let's see' but they knew it was her family. Stories like that always make me smile. You don't really see a lot of dragons with poison nowadays!! I definitely loved her lore about how she has thin skin yet pulls pranks on the rest of the clan. Having that 'let me hurt you before you hurt me' mentality is very sad, but entirely understandable. What happened in her past for her to act this way? How does she handle scoldings? Clearly the clan tolerates her, but how does she react when they try to redirect her towards other things that aren't bothering/making a mess of the clan? This is a dragon I'd definitely love to learn more about!! I'm adding that to my own book for my dragons. xD Love has gone into her looks, but I can't help but wonder what she does!
