For Keeping Track of My[url=http://www1.flightrising.com/forums/frd/1021864/] Legacy Challenges[/url]! The way I'm doing it will differ slightly from the typical legacy challenge, and will probably differ from time to time. What I do is breed my founders and then based on the heir determined a scry to be my final goal. In this case, I'm planning on continuing the challenge past 10 generations, since it will undoubtedly take more, until I reach my goal. This may change with future challenges. Other than that, I'm following Legacy Challenge Rules -- start with triple basic, increasing budget for mate, all mates have to be from the same flight as the founder, etc. So here goes! [size=6][b]Founding Generation -- Challenge #1[/b][/size] Alright, name of each challenge will come with Generation One, with the determination of goal dragon. And her (fairly randomly) chosen mate! [size=6][b]Generation 1 -- Challenge #1[/b][/size] Alright actually naming the challenges has turned out to be too much effort, but oh well they can remain numbered. In any case, Symphony and Lunarayn had a 2 egg nest. Really a decent color combo to make a goal from! And a gene in the first generation is a nice bonus. I've decided to aim high and just keep breeding until I get really close... so probably generation 99. Here is the goal final generation! Genes are less complicated to work with. Obviously hoping to get that obsidian/obsidian pretty quickly, and thouse two treasure genes would be nice as well. (Also glimmer...but that's a reeeaaaallly long shot there.) Oh! And the heir being a common breed would be awesome too.

[size=6][b]Generation 2 -- Challenge #1[/b][/size] A three egg nest this time, and all children named after variations of oboes for some reason??? Still don't remember what the tert is, but at least the secondary has moved to obsidian! His siblings had more genes and were overall nicer, but he could've been worse...probably. Getting that underbelly tert, at least, would be great, along with a 50/50 chance of getting double obsidian this early! His siblings? While that primary gene would've been nice, I think I'd rather have the colors than the gene right now.

[size=6][b]Generation 3 -- Challenge #1[/b][/size] [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=22973279][img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/229733/22973279_350.png[/img][/url] Each of the hatchlings had a different positive attribute in this case -- the heir has a tert gene, one of his sisters is a skydancer, and his other sister is double obsidian with underbelly. Really, I got the worst of the lot, but at least some progress has been made. [size=6][b]Generation 4 -- Challenge #1[/b][/size] Once again, the heir had to be the least lucky of the lot. Or perhaps the second most lucky but the least pretty. Her sister is a obsidian/obsidian skydancer who also got crackle, but her brother is a black/obsidian/obsidian mirror who didn't inherit crackle but looks quite sleek as a one off XXX. Meanwhile this blob inherited the crackle gene and absolutely nothing else. He's a stepping stone, very far from a goal.

[size=6][b]Generation 5 -- Challenge #1[/b][/size] Generation 5 and finally triple gened! I feel like I should throw a party! I rather despise the freckle and the crackle, but they'll be going away soon enough. Hopefully. He was the only one to inherit the freckle from his father, so at least the RNG favored me by choosing him as heir! [size=6][b]Founding Generation -- Challenge #2[/b][/size] Alright so I've given in and started another challenge. [size=6][b]Generation 6 -- Challenge #1[/b][/size] Disappointed that my heir isn't a the snapper of the pair, but at least he moved up the gene rarity scale in primary, coming out with cherub/peregrine/crackle! Also still no double obsidian. That is one thing that keeps evading me, isn't it? She's a double obsidian snapper with midnight gembond. Almost definitely not going to get the cryface primary or secondary, but my real goal for now is to get rid of the mirror/crackle combination. This mate will produce eggs with a decent enough chance at a snapper, gembond, or both! Bought for 12,500t. [size=6][b]Generation 1 -- Challenge #2[/b][/size] I'm using a random number generator to select the heirs for this challenge, so I wound up with the third hatchling in this nest as my heir. I really like her color scheme, since she's double greyscale it's easy to work with. I was lucky enough to have two spirals come out of this nest, and I've moved to common breeds already! (Which I haven't been able to do in 6 generations with my first challenge...) My heir is this adorable girl. The other is a triple basic guardian so I'm just feeling lucky the RNG didn't give me her as my heir... And I think my goal for this challenge is going to be less focused than the last one. My ideal is a imp female with moon poison/blue-purple range facet/greyscale glimmer. I love the combination of moon and darker blue-purple range colors because it reminds me of space. So, that would look something like this!
