Subspecies: Dagoni "The Watery Ones"

In the days when the dragons were first settling in Beastclan land, there were some bands who allied with the Maren clans that inhabited the seas. The Maren taught them to fish and to use the magic of the sea to their advantage, and in turn, the dragons protected them from rival clans.
Over time, the dragons and the Maren began to mate with each other, producing a new species. These creatures, the Dagoni, could pass as ordinary dragons. But they possessed the magic of their Maren bloodlines, and a desire to live near water and swim beneath the waves. These creatures had the ability to breathe underwater, and most of them live in massive colonies near The Spiral Keep and deeper still. They are best identified by their mastery of water magics, affinity for fish and for the Maren people, and their coloration, which allows them to be camouflaged in their home.
They love the water, and many cannot live without it. They hail from clans that live closest to Maren populations, though most are from Water and Arcane clans. Beautiful to look at but dangerous to upset. The water is their first and only home.

EXAMPLES:
Here are some examples of acceptable Dagoni:
SUBSPECIES VARIANT!!! Deep Sea Dagoni
There are Dagoni who live deeper still than their relatives. They live deeper than dragons have ever traveled, where only Maren dare to go.
These creatures have developed new colors, to blend in or stand out. They are rarely seen above the surface. These creatures can hold their breath for years on end, allowing them to comfortably live beneath the waves, even without developed gills.
Unlike most Dagoni, these creatures are loners. They thrive upon solitude, and often dislike sunlight. These creatures are rare, and you will not see them often.
Requirements: See above, though red eyes (Plague) are quite common in this species, and Mirrors seem to belong to this species and Peregrine has crept into the gene pool.
The following colors are possible:
- Obsidian
- Eldritch
- Midnight
- Shadow
- Abyss
- Phthalo
- Hunter
- Umber
- Sapphire
But some can possess (as Secondary and Tertiary colors only):
- Sanguine
- Wine
- Garnet
- Blood
- Murk
- Algae
- Camo
- Steel
- Overcast
- Wisteria
- Jungle
Acceptable genes are the same as above.

Unlike her sister, this dragon is very shy. She loves to swim, and her lungs are well developed for this. Her body seems hydrophobic; water falls right off, which only makes her all the more eager to swim. As a past time, she loves hunting frogs.
