Axolotls or these guys are what I'm trying to replicate with this subspecies.

Axolotls are a type of salamander with extreme regenerative properties they're abled to regrow entire limbs! Sadly they are considered critically endangered and may possible be extinct in the wild (their absolute numbers are safe though as they are regularly kept as pets.)

Requirements

To be considered an axolotl a dragon can be a Fae, mirror, ridgeback, tundra, wildclaw, nocturne, coatl, or skydancer.


It can have iridescent or speckle as a primary.
It can have shimmer or freckle as a secondary.
And it must have glimmer as a tert.

To be a wild type axolotl
it can have charcoal through midnight as primary and secondary
It can have sand through chocolate as tert

To be an white albino axolotl
It can have maize through grey as primary and secondary
It can have rose through coral as tert

To be a golden axolotl
It must have speckle and freckle because iridescent and shimmer do weird things to the yellow range.
It can have goldenrod through sunshine as primary and secondary
And rose through coral as tert
